A white supremacist blogger and internet radio host was arrested and charged Wednesday with threatening to kill judges, the authorities said. Hal Turner was arrested at his apartment in suburban New Jersey. According to court documents, after a three-judge panel of the Chicago-based 7th U.S. Circuit of Appeals upheld a Chicago handgun ban, he blogged that the judges should be “killed.” “Let me be the first to say this plainly: These judges deserve to be killed. Their blood will replenish the tree of liberty. A small price to pay to assure freedom for millions,” he wrote on his blog (tunerradionetwork.blogspot.com) on June 2, the day of the ruling, according to court documents. A day later he posted addresses, photos, maps and other identifying information about Chief Judge Frank Easterbrook and Judges Richard Posner and William Bauer, the authorities said. An FBI agent said (.pdf) Turner told the authorities “he did not intend to injure the judges but believed he would be criminally responsible if someone reading his website acted on what he posted to his website.” The banner on his Turner Radio Network site includes this logo: “Free Speech: No Matter who Doesn’t Like It!” Turner, who is to appear in New Jersey federal court Thursday, faces a maximum 10-year term if convicted. “We take threats to federal judges very seriously. Period,” said Patrick J. Fitzgerald, the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. State charges are also pending against the 47-year-old Turner in Hartford, Connecticut, where he is accused of inciting readers to “take up arms” against state lawmakers. Two years ago, Turner’s site allegedly was the victim of denial of service attacks by the group, Anonymous. Hackers also claimed he was an FBI informant after posting e-mail allegedly between Turner and an agent.

Maybe in your mind, but that still doesn't make your case. Again, that's my only interest in Turner. I don't know whether he (or anyone else who hosts a show) is a fed or not, but until I know much, much more I'll leave that particular smear alone. We're all opinionated people, but when AJ says bluntly "he was a fed", I get to say that AJ is full of shit until he can prove the charge. What I see in Turner is a guy who couldn't get on the air but once a week, and that sporadically. That's hardly a way for a federal asset to attract disciples, which would be the sole purpose of a Turner. I guess some will have to see the man sentenced and doing time before the obvious hits them, and that's fine. But it doesn't make a premature leap to conclusion any less despicable. It's despicable not because it's Turner, but because it can then happen to anyone else on our side of the political ledger. And Lord knows it does. Hal is but the latest of a long line of radio hosts who have been accused without proof by folks who comfortably sit on the sidelines. I could care less where he spends the next decade, but I suppose if he does go to prison that still wouldn't convince some. Then examples of how the FedGov tosses used assets overboard will be rolled out as "evidence" of his guilt. As far as your Rosenberg example they were tried and convicted. Subsequently much evidence has since proven the state's case against them. Why you chose to weave them into this is beyond me unless it was to buttress my examples oh how guilt is firmly be established, given the limits of the system.
To my mind, the FBI would throw Turner away before they go thru these gyrations, because if he walks, no one would ever trust him again. If he goes to jail, the government gets hurt, because some people might wake the hell up. Odds....he is now tainted meat NEITHER sides wants.
Cyni, From my experience the average person will never, ever know who the agents are. That's the nature of the business here in the States and in every other nation on the planet. My best take on Turner is that he was a very outspoken, pro-white guy and that simply isn't allowed. I'll be the first to change that benign opinion when and if additional info comes along. But as for now he just might be the beginning of the Internet purge we all suspect His Highness has promised. The one the Os clamored for.

Absolutely. There is a point in a relationship where trust enters, but it has to be earned over a period of time and under certain conditions. But even if I didn't trust someone, it would be wrong to accuse h/she of collaboration w/o proof. Just my opinion.
Infamous hate blogger and Internet radio host Hal Turner had a small arsenal in his home that included 200 rounds of ammunition and 150 hollow-point bullets when it was searched by the FBI yesterday, it was disclosed in court today. Federal officials told the court of the ammo and guns at Turner's hearing this afternoon in Newark. Turner, who is charged with threatening to kill federal judges in Chicago in a blog post on June 2, was held without bail. FBI seized the ammunition as well as three handguns and one shotgun, officials said. Turner's attorney, Michael Orozco, said Turner had permits for the guns. Turner, wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans, appeared relaxed in court today. His hands were cuffed in front of him and his feet were shackled. There was a U.S. Marshal at his sides and a number marshals posted at the door of the courtroom. The hearing was attended by Turner's wife, mother and brother, who spoke with Turner briefly before the hearing. District Court Judge Michael Shipp said at the hearing he found Turner is a danger to the community based on the remarks in his blog. Illinois authorities say Turner wrote on his blog June 2: "Let me be the first to say this plainly: These judges deserve to be killed." The Chicago judges apparently has angered Turner with their ruling on a handgun ban. Shipp today gave Turner a list of conditions that must be adhered to if he posts bail. He order Turner to refrain from using the Internet; he can have no contact with the judges he's accused to threatening; Turner's barred barred from blogging or broadcasting his show; he must surrender all broadcasting equipment he owns; he must remain under house arrest and wear an electronic bracelet; he must forfeit all travel documents like his passport. Turner is also facing charges that his comments in a blog post -- also posted on June 2 -- was inciting violence against two lawmakers who championed a bill that would provide more oversight of the finances of Catholic parishes.

For years, my former radio show and my web site have been the ONLY media outlets ever to report the vast money-laundering and bribery scheme perpetrated by the Israeli government with members of the United States Congress as co- conspirators. The scheme works like this: The U.S. Congress votes to send between $3 Billion and $6 Billion free cash to Israel every year under the guise of "foreign aid." When the money arrives, the Israeli government takes several hundred million and puts it aside to be sent back to the USA through Jewish Political Action Committees, and donated to the political campaigns of the Congress members most friendly to Israel. By funding Israel, certain members of Congress actually guarantee they'll have enough campaign cash to get re-elected. No one investigated it because there was never any way to PROVE what was being done. This morning that changed. The Israeli who called me is personally disgusted with his governments ongoing attacks against unarmed civilians in the West Bank and Gaza strip. He says the bombing of civilians has been far worse than reported in the media, with at least 2,000 dead and 10,000 injured. I listened to as much of that as I could stand, then started scanning through to find the interview. I have to go and cool off for a while, listening to that sanctimonious Christian nonsense tends to put me into a deeply vile mood. From what I was able to stand, I didn't hear one word of Hal Turner in that whole broadcast, just a bunch of the usual Christian drivel about how God is going to make everything right "someday", while in the meantime the forces of evil run amok and ram us all up the ass forever, and how we're just supposed to smile and take it. I mean, what would the press release say, that Because Turner is a federal asset he will be permitted to continue his broadcasts and intel gathering....? Or, would the govt use the old buttonhook logic on us a write, Even though Turner is very dangerous the DOJ will not ask the court to order Turner to cease broadcasting because "each defendant is entitled to a presumption of innocence during the trial process."? Remember, if this prosecution is solely for the purpose of rehabbing his rep as a legit WN then he'll have to be treated as harshly as any other being prosecuted for the same thing. The govt cannot show obvious favoritism or slack off while simultaneously making the case that Turner is a serious threat to officials or institutions without defeating the whole purpose of this "political theater for the congenitally simple".

Actually, that does give me a moment of pause. AJ is certainly not the person to being casting suspicions. But then again he may consider himself to be the Alpha DAWG of super deep covers on "reel important govt bizness" and that if Turner is fingered it will leave less residual suspicion in general and AJ can only benefit from that. Hell, even if AJ and Hal meet the same paymaster at the same little restaurant on the same night, AJ's monster ego would likely compel him to try to eliminate any "competition for Big Brutha's affection". If for no other reason AJ tiptoes around controversy involving the "J" word and Hal seems to say whatever he damn well pleases and gets away with it. This has got to make it tough on AJ when his followers ask why he doesn't take a stand, and the best way to explain why it wouldn't be safe to follow in Hal's footsteps is to accuse Turner of being a FED. In fact they could both be FEDs but AJ wants to stay inside "respectable political parameters" until such time as he is needed to tell us not to take it to the streets. And, just when might that be necessary? Why, when the sweeping bans come down and Hal Turner demands we rise up and of course nothing happens. At that point AJ and Hal may both be following their mandates by canceling each other's messages and paralyzing the people into inaction. (Abbott & Costello) I just can't picture a guy who tries as hard to make enemies as Hal Turner setting up shop in NJ where even HP ammo is (rumored to be-can't get a straight answer on the net) against the law, where the entire police state apparatus may align against him at a crucial time and where potential assassins linger on every street corner. The police may even turn their heads if Turner is set upon and then badly bungle any investigation into the attack on Turner. And, how does he manage a gun permit (even for simple possession if not carry) in NJ when his unrepentant incitement to racial hatred and violence would be adequate grounds for denial or revocation? And, when accused of being an FBI rodent he suddenly quit the movement (which didn't last long) and this strikes me as the textbook example of mens rea. Even allowing for Wikipedia spin it seems to me that Hal Turner is on a mission to provide the Congress, the FBI, the ATF and the SPLC with all of the prima facie evidence they'll ever need that guns, the internet, free speech and white people should be against the law. Trust me, if the most sweeping legislation in our history is ever introduced and the enemy attempts to take it all in a single fell swoop Hal Turner will be the poster bad boy and then we'll see his agenda in its true light. And what will Hal Turner say then? "Aw gee, I'm sorry folks, I thought I was helping America! I didn't know that the people would be suspicious of my motives and too afraid to openly rebel...." And, Alex Jones? "Aw, gee folks, now is not the time to dig those guns up. We have to plan and carefully prepare if we want to defeat the reptilian neocon Moloch worshipers of the New World Order. "I think he is a danger to the community," Magistrate Judge Michael A. Shipp said. Turner has long been accused of being anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic and anti-government and often pushes the bounds of free speech. But authorities say he crossed a line earlier this month by writing that three appellate court judges should be killed for ruling against lawsuits challenging handgun bans in Chicago and suburban Oak Park. "These judges deserve to be killed," Turner wrote on his blog, according to a complaint filed by federal prosecutors in Chicago. He also published photographs of the judges and a map showing the courthouse where they work, authorities said. Three weeks later, on June 24, FBI agents arrested him at his home in North Bergen, where they found several firearms, authorities said. He is charged with threatening to assault or murder federal judges and faces up to 10 years in prison. Earlier last month, Turner was charged with an unrelated crime in Connecticut. Authorities say he urged his blog readers to "take up arms" against two state lawmakers who supported a bill to give lay members of Roman Catholic churches more control over parish finances.
