A woman I knew, who is a great fan of Les Miserables. told me, "You fit 'the Vice,' except for not being the most talented actor." She wrote this:
The Vice -- Mischief, Iniquity, Avarice, etc. -- played by the most talented actor -- a central role -- high-spirited, funny, boastful, delightful -- open about hiding his true character from the other characters -- open to the audience -- soon began to steal the show from the supposed central character, Mankind
Anyone can play "Spot the Devil" with these three easy questions:
1) Is the character fun--easily the most fun character out of the whole bunch? 2) Is he also clearly a villain? 3) Does the audience just love him, even knowing what he is?
Turtle doesn't know whether to be offended or not.
Okay, most definitely not, since it's mostly true.
