Camp Casey Attacked

The hate campaign conducted by the War Party against Cindy Sheehan has finally culminated in an attack on "Camp Casey," the site of a growing protest against the Iraq war in Crawford, Texas, according to this report. Apparently, a man in a pick-up truck barreled into Camp Casey, and, wielding a chain, knocked down 150 road-side crosses

representing the Iraq war dead. The truck then suffered a blown-out tire, and law enforcement, we hear, have the man in custody.

Sheehan has alerted her supporters that the Secret Service is pressuring her to leave Crawford. According to this report, Thursday morning the residents of Camp Casey were jolted awake by a fourteen-car convoy of Secret Service SUVs, as the drivers leaned on their horns as they passed the camp at high speed. Earlier, a local resident, Larry Mattlage, fired his gun in the air in the vicinity, and, when asked why, replied:

“We're going to start doing our war and it's going to be underneath the law. Whatever it takes.”

A more accurate description of the War Party's agenda and methodology could hardly be articulated.

Maybe those who recognize the FReepy ones, should take a closer look at some of the photos of the opposition protest to Camp Casey.

What in hell has happened to our government that subjects honest citizens to harassment by paid servants of the people? This swaggering, smirking Buffoon who now occupies the White House is the poorest excuse for a leader the world has ever seen . If our elected representatives weren't so corrupt he would have been IMPEACHED months ago...

The president vacations nearby, using the readily available press corps to tell these families that their loved ones will come home when things get better in Iraq. To these families, this statement pulls hope from under their feet. They know from the phone calls, the e-mails and the return visits home that things aren't getting better in Iraq. They're getting worse.

The president offers them the guarantee that he cares. And then he reiterates his plan for success in Iraq: more of the same. That's a tough sell to the folks here at the encampment. More of the same has a unique meaning to them. It means redeployments to a war zone, increased vulnerability to physical and mental injury and a guarantee of family hardships.

You know what I'm sick of? I'm fucking sick of the intellectually bankrupt beating on the table to make a "point"

There's a Lawyer tale that goes:

"When the facts are on your side, beat on the facts. When the law is on your side, beat on the law. When neither the facts OR the law is on your side, beat on the table!"

Here we have members of an elite group of law enforcement officers, the Secret Service. Ostensibly the best of the best. Proven men who can, and should, be held to a higher standard, harassing innocent citizens and generally acting like nincompoops. I know sixth graders with more grace.

In addition we have Mr. "Real American" who is probably convinced in his tiny mind that he is a "Patriot" with a "cause"

And what’s our all American superhero in waiting doing to serve his beloved nation? He's driving around terrorizing women who dared to put up a makeshift war memorial, destroying private property and generally being a dick.

These people could write books, give press conferences, start a counter protest, engage the "evil doers" in the Sheehan Camp in debate, write letters to the editor, rent a billboard or just go any one of hundreds of legitimate routes to counter her point and expose her as the fool they believe her to be.

You may be thinking: Well, duh. If it's that fucking easy.. why don't they do it?

There's a problem. In order to succeed, they would have to be able to convince others that they are right. This of course means, winning the debate on the strength of their arguments.

Since they don't HAVE any legitimate bitch, aside from her "making the President look bad" and equally vacant nonsense, they're beating on the table.

It's sad. It’s sad to see folks reduced to that and, if anyone doesn't think so, that's too bad.

It doesn't matter what you think of Cindy Sheehan and Dubya, there's plenty of similar examples from the Clinton's reign of terror.

Regardless which side of the isle it serves in any particular instance, beating on the table is a tactic reserved for those who must silence the opposition because they can't put on a convincing case of their own.

And now we begin to see what the power elites really think about those who have died in Iraq. Say, how many children of CEO's and CFO's and Congressmen and Senators are currently serving over there? None? Maybe one or two? I thought so.

Are these jackasses blocking the roadway? Camping on easement? Picking up their litter? Permission from property owners to be there? Assembly permit? Bathroom facilities? Garbage duty?

Who is watching over these logistics? This took some planning, it should be easy to find out who is behind all this.

I think what the guy did was AOK!

I can't say what the ultimate result of the Sheehan protest will be, but one good result I see is the exposure of the core Bush supporters for the hate mongers they really are.

The hick with the shotgun, the smartass Freepers who prefer to yell at the mother of a fallen soldier rather than serving themselves and and this drunken rube in the the pickup truck are all good examples of the core GOP support. They disgust the average person. I think the status quo has been maintained as a lot of the people haven't seen these types in action.

We know what these types are about because we see them everyday on the net. I've noticed that a lot of people who arn't active on the net don't appreicate the ignorant, mindless hate that drives people like WhiteSands, Quantril, badeye and languid. Maybe the hate spewed over Sheehan will wake up a few people.

Isn't it just too damn bad that the freepers, republicans, and democrats alike can't see who are their real enemies. Like Lisa, it's my opinion that henry k expressed the sentiment of all the elites in his cold and heartless statement below.

What Henry Kissinger Thinks of Our Military By Lisa Guliani

"Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy." ~ Henry Kissinger ~ January-February 2003 edition of Eagle Newsletter

The above statement given by Henry Kissinger should dispel any possible doubt or confusion in the skeptics among us as to just how little our servicemen matter to the elitist madmen calling the shots. No longer do they spew empty words to placate the masses. They are admitting outright that our soldiers are expendable and disposable. If the above statement by Kissinger doesn't make your blood run cold, then tell me, what will?

While the war-mongers relentlessly push us into a war nobody else wants, our troops are scattered far and wide, preparing for the unpredictable and seemingly inevitable confrontations which lie ahead. Some are saying this war will lead to peace. The absurdity of such a statement is apparent. Why must we engage in war to obtain peace? What will be the ultimate price of such peace? How many American lives must be sacrificed as collateral damage to purchase this "peace"? How many of our sons and daughters will die in order for the Controllers to achieve their insidious ends? It's beyond horrible to consider.

My son recently informed me that he intends to enlist in the Army in November when he turns 17. He has already spoken with an Army recruiter. Like so many other young people his age, my son has bought into the "Illusions of the Machine". He feels strong, invincible, and is all "gung ho" to go into a combat situation to "protect America" from terrorists. The extent of his misperception is incredible. How many of our young men and women are feeding into this crap? Too many, I imagine. While my son is trained in how to use deadly weapons, will he realize that someday he may be ordered to use them against his own people? Has he considered this possibility? No. My son is not politically aware of how the Machine operates and who is truly in command. . He simply sees the opportunity to jump into the fray, travel to distant lands, and dress up like G. I. Joe, probably imagining he is "Rambo". He envisions excitement and danger and a break from monotony. He likes the idea of being a "hero".

What I would really like to do is take my son to Washington, D.C. and let him check out the Korean War Memorial and the Vietnam War Memorial Wall. Perhaps some of his perceptions would change if he could look at the faces of war, if he could feel the pain and horror of war, if he could taste the blood of war. The Korean War Memorial has a wall of its own. On it is inscribed a simple sentence: "Freedom Is Not Free." My son has no concept of this sentence at this point. If he joins the Army in November, he is in for one hell of a rude awakening.

Sadly, it is this feeling of invincibility that is all too prevalent in our society today. Americans do not believe anything can touch them or hurt them. Not really. Many of our people are still disconnected from the big picture, simply because nothing horrible is happening in their own backyards. I hearken back to 9/11/2001, and remember the disconnection of some of the people in my life to that unforgettable mass murder. I couldn't believe it then, and I still have a hard time with it. America, when are you going to realize that what happens to SOME of us happens to ALL of us?

Our young men and women are steadily disappearing into Bush's War Machine, where they will be forever changed. They don't realize just WHO they're fighting FOR. They don't know because our fine military leaders aren't going to tell them. They don't need to know - because our war-crazy leadership isn't going to tell them either. They are viewed as "dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy", remember? And still they enlist, never realizing perhaps, until it's too late, that they've put their very lives in jeopardy for the true "evildoers", the plutocrats designing this war to suit their heinous schemes.

These "dumb, stupid animals" are OUR children and they're being shipped out and set up to die on foreign soil. How does this sit with you? It makes my blood BOIL. And while I will do my best to dissolve the smoke & mirrors clouding my son's thinking, the writing is already on the wall. The Machine wants to chew up another "dumb, stupid animal" - my child.

I'd like to ask Henry Kissinger to personally explain his statement to me and all the other American mothers and fathers out there whose children are gearing up to fight this obscene war under false pretenses.

My message to George Bush and the rest of the lunatic Machine is: ”I'll see you all in HELL. Don't be late.”

Power doesn't change people...it reveals who they really are. The above mentioned snapper-heads like to feel like they are in power by cheerleading for the chimp and his handlers. I can't think of better spokesmen for their cause.

Just when you think they cannot get any lower, they do. On the bright side, this is getting plenty of tube time. Let all the soldiers and their families see how these people really feel about them. Let them see how they treat the mother of a soldier who died. Let everyone now see them in all their ugliness.
