Over the past few months, I've noticed that there is an increase in LP Members who choose to use words and namecalling to:

ridicule others

demean others

undermine others

"pigeonhole" others or events

This is being done by those who do not agree with a position or person. Rather than engage in debate and rebuttal, certain individuals simply screech out (or type out) their favorite nom du jour and avoid any intelligent discussion.

It's going to STOP!

Polite requests have not worked.

Removal of posts has not worked.

Removal of posts and RED comments of UNCIVIL behavior has not worked.

So now, we WILL do something that WILL work!

Henceforth, when any issue arises, or any discussion occurs, and the person trivializes it by either labeling it as:

-- kook

-- nutcase

or any variation thereof, I'm just going to remove the person permanently. Ban them.

I believe that there may be some new "plants" here from that "Acorn" group or something similar. Regardless of who it is, these actions are INCOMPATABLE with Free Speech under the First Amendment.

To have some folks polluting the LP discussions with a low-brow, uneducated method of halting discussion is unacceptable.

It's like urinating in the swimming pool. Uncouth, vulgar, and disgusting.

Earlier, we had various people calling each other names, and it was a personal issue.

This is different.

This will not stand.

If this restriction is intolerable to those who engage in this with your limited mental processes, please don't hesitate to leave. You will NOT be missed.

You are ALL hereby put on notice to cease and desist from this activity: Immediately

If you find a new word that does the same thing....guess what?

This same rule will cause the deletion of the offender.

LP "WILL" be a site for news DISCUSSION. Period.

We will have this added to our official rules.

I still think I nailed it on the thread I was banned on - when Goldi was unemployed she was offered a simple proposition - "we'll give you a good job just cooperate with us". Liberty Post was a bare knuckle fight before - and now it is a bare knuckle fight with the defenders of liberty being required to wear an eye patch over one eye, one hand behind their back, and a cement galosh on one foot.

Maybe, but I think it there is a much simpler reason for her change. Once she moved to Florida, she met a whole new group of people. The job she took was with a company within the Military Industrial Complex. Her whole livelihood depended upon the war and the deaths of American troops. On top of that, a huge majority of those who work for the MIC are former military, and at the time she took the job, Bush was still being hailed as a God. She was influenced by them. She went from being anti-government to being a Bushbot within six months.

At the same time, my guess is that the new synagogue she began attending was different in the one she was attending up north. I believe it was much more Zionist and Israeli-oriented. I say this because her whole attitude about being a Jew and the Jewish people seemed to change once she moved down there. She appears to be much more Zionist now than she ever was when she first began LP. She went from being a patriotic American woman to being a Israeli-first Jew who would sell American secrets to Israel at the drop of a hat.

Maybe I'm wrong. I never knew her personally and only knew her by her online persona. Maybe she's always been an Israeli-firster, but I sure don't remember thinking that until after she moved south. Neil or someone else knew her personally so they would have more insight into that part of her.

She was definitely an Israel Firster before (in the eary days of El Pee Neil had to pull one of her hate filled screeds) it just became more obvious and more pronounced as Israel continued to lose support among the posters, and her new job was of the same type she had before - just a different employer. Her real bug with Ron Paul was that he was not prostrate before the Israel Lobby and nad even commented about their undue influence in our government.

OK, so I guess I know even less about her than I thought I did. I was unaware that she worked for the MIC when she was in Baltimore (IIRC). I do remember her "palianimal" screed, but I thought that was after she had already moved.

What I remember most about her in the early days of LP was her friendship with that tax protester guy (can't remember his name) and her overall anti-government attitude.

Speaking of the tax protester guy (I wish I could remember his name but it was a long time ago now), something that never made sense to me was why Goldi took Badeye's side over that of Neil when Badeye spent a large amount of energy insulting not only two people who were supposed to be her friends, but the tax protest movement in general.

Her Israel Uber Alles viewpoint colors everything she does. Neil, by standing up to her bias, became "an enemy of Israel" and thus her shift in viewpoint. I think it is less a disaffection with freedom than it is a fanatical attachment to Israhell. I put the question to her bluntly once and she refused to respond - basically "either you are a conservative who believes in liberty or a supporter of a Marxist movement i.e., Zionism". She was not capable of resolving it - at least not honestly. And you are right when you say that Goldi has driven people away from her dwindling little fiefdom and is now left with little other than an echo chamber filled with bots, shills, and disinfo posters. One can only assume she approves of that scene.

I might add that her behavior has sent some of the better liberty oriented posters in this direction. Her site is shrinking and this one is slowly growing. I'm sure that has got to frost her. That just breaks my heart. Not.

Even though I really could care less at the time, except at the wishing death on a candidate which became tedious, many were perplexed by her allowing glc to continually spam the forum with ads. We later learned the rational and I think it is still occurring.
