Over the past few months, I've noticed that there is an increase in LP Members who choose to use words and namecalling to: ridicule others demean others undermine others "pigeonhole" others or events This is being done by those who do not agree with a position or person. Rather than engage in debate and rebuttal, certain individuals simply screech out (or type out) their favorite nom du jour and avoid any intelligent discussion. It's going to STOP! Polite requests have not worked. Removal of posts has not worked. Removal of posts and RED comments of UNCIVIL behavior has not worked. So now, we WILL do something that WILL work! Henceforth, when any issue arises, or any discussion occurs, and the person trivializes it by either labeling it as: -- kook -- nutcase or any variation thereof, I'm just going to remove the person permanently. Ban them. I believe that there may be some new "plants" here from that "Acorn" group or something similar. Regardless of who it is, these actions are INCOMPATABLE with Free Speech under the First Amendment. To have some folks polluting the LP discussions with a low-brow, uneducated method of halting discussion is unacceptable. It's like urinating in the swimming pool. Uncouth, vulgar, and disgusting. Earlier, we had various people calling each other names, and it was a personal issue. This is different. This will not stand. If this restriction is intolerable to those who engage in this with your limited mental processes, please don't hesitate to leave. You will NOT be missed. You are ALL hereby put on notice to cease and desist from this activity: Immediately If you find a new word that does the same thing....guess what? This same rule will cause the deletion of the offender. LP "WILL" be a site for news DISCUSSION. Period. We will have this added to our official rules.

She was definitely an Israel Firster before (in the eary days of El Pee Neil had to pull one of her hate filled screeds) it just became more obvious and more pronounced as Israel continued to lose support among the posters, and her new job was of the same type she had before - just a different employer. Her real bug with Ron Paul was that he was not prostrate before the Israel Lobby and nad even commented about their undue influence in our government.

I don't understand it either, although I believe that Essex is in some way, shape or form a leader within the Republicrat Party, either at the local, state or national level. Even after eight years of Republicrat rule, this guy still refuses to hold the Republicrats responsible and instead blames everything on the Democans.

OK, so I guess I know even less about her than I thought I did. I was unaware that she worked for the MIC when she was in Baltimore (IIRC). I do remember her "palianimal" screed, but I thought that was after she had already moved. What I remember most about her in the early days of LP was her friendship with that tax protester guy (can't remember his name) and her overall anti-government attitude. Speaking of the tax protester guy (I wish I could remember his name but it was a long time ago now), something that never made sense to me was why Goldi took Badeye's side over that of Neil when Badeye spent a large amount of energy insulting not only two people who were supposed to be her friends, but the tax protest movement in general.

Her Israel Uber Alles viewpoint colors everything she does. Neil, by standing up to her bias, became "an enemy of Israel" and thus her shift in viewpoint. I think it is less a disaffection with freedom than it is a fanatical attachment to Israhell. I put the question to her bluntly once and she refused to respond - basically "either you are a conservative who believes in liberty or a supporter of a Marxist movement i.e., Zionism". She was not capable of resolving it - at least not honestly. And you are right when you say that Goldi has driven people away from her dwindling little fiefdom and is now left with little other than an echo chamber filled with bots, shills, and disinfo posters. One can only assume she approves of that scene.

I might add that her behavior has sent some of the better liberty oriented posters in this direction. Her site is shrinking and this one is slowly growing. I'm sure that has got to frost her. That just breaks my heart. Not.

But he's special, in more ways than one. In Goldi's world, dissenting opinion is provocation. Yes, he is special. You'd think a grown man would be too embarrassed to hide behind an internet mommy when his chickens come home to roost.
Even though I really could care less at the time, except at the wishing death on a candidate which became tedious, many were perplexed by her allowing glc to continually spam the forum with ads. We later learned the rational and I think it is still occurring.
These days 'Liberty Post' is more like Dry Gulch in the Australian Outback: they serve one flavor of lukewarm political water that tastes like a crocodile pissed in it.

Many before have been banned for less provocation.......you can't trust her emotional instability whereby any poster who is not an Israeli Firster or a confirmed birther or a Palin cheerleader could join the ranks of the bannedfor daring to openly state the hypcricy abound. The last three bannings have been very low key events, using some brown shirt rational to justify her position.

She made her in/famous "pali-animals" comment when LP was only about 2 months old. It clearly violated our rules in place at the time and ever since, but being new an this job running a forum, and not expecting my partner on this to have actually posted something like that, I didn't do anything about it. It came back to haunt her and rightly so. Goldi is a converted Jew. It gives her a purpose in life that she didn't have before and for that.... all I can say is good for her. She did tell me in person once about how Jews were not permitted to charge interest from other Jews, only non-Jews. The more I thought about that, the more "wrong" it is that Jews could do that and not, say, whites. It's obvious how such a policy can work to promote one class of people at the expense of others. As long as that economic principle is an element of the Jewish faith, I can certainly understand anyone having monetary paranoia toward Jews in general. The "Jews can't charge Jews interest" rule is one concrete fact that can justify such paranoia. Goldi wanted Israel to receive special consideration, and be exempt from criticism normally directed toward countries because Israel is unique in being founded on the basis of faith. I always disagreed with that. Obviously if Israel chose to be a country, then it inherits all the duties of one, including suffering first amendment criticism. She said some people who hate Jews would simply substitute the word "Israel" in place of "Jews". Maybe some would, but we'd have to deal with that on a case by case basis. But Israel having even footing with all other countries was the policy the entire time I was there. I'm sure it's not the case now, unofficially if not officially, since Goldi has such strong attachments to her faith and through that, Israel itself. As for Israel, its current inhuman blockade of Gaza, is all by itself an act of war. Israel has proven, just as Goldi proved with her pali-animals comment, that they hate the people of Gaza and want them wiped off the map. And not in the sense that (I understand) Iran's leader referred to with Israel in just eliminating the government and borders. There can be no doubt that Israel wants to wipe the people of Gaza into the sea. And it's a crime of the highest order that they are actively doing that, and a crime of the government of the USA and all other governments that enable Israel in this act of genocide.
One of the times she attacked me I tried conveying the point that Judaism the Religion and Israel the Secular State are not an identity, but she would not respond to the post. I pointed out that the roots of Zionism are simply another branch of Marxism with an ethnic identity but she would not hear that either. While she is entitled to her beliefs I do not have to kow tow to them but that is what she wants.

I come in peace, Free Folk. I finally got the big bounce from Goldi after playing my fifth round of rule- hypocrisy chicken with her. She bounced me for calling her BS on her new rules because her favorite posters were violating her new rule on the very thread she announced the new rule. I won't lie: I expected to get banned. I started publicly staring down Goldi ever since Badeye got away with endless childish disruptions of threads not supportive of GOP golden children (not to be confused with conservative government policies). This last time marks the third or fourth time I publicly shouted at Goldi for open hypocrisy. I relentlessly used the exact same tactics on Badeye and later yukon used on every thread they intended to tie up - including name calling and ridicule. I also knew Goldi would sooner or later throw me out because I relentlessly used the exact same tactics of her golden children to attack the political positions she supported. I got no particular feelings about my ban, other than separation from some eager, active minds I appreciated and often opposed. I'll leave my shoes at the door and keep my feet off the furniture. Goldi is a liar. She banned him because he was against her politics and did a great job at it, and she freaked out and banned him. Only after everyone on the site rose up, she claimed to unban him.
