Title: Goldi lays down the law - again

Over the past few months, I've noticed that there is an increase in LP Members who choose to use words and namecalling to:

ridicule others

demean others

undermine others

"pigeonhole" others or events

This is being done by those who do not agree with a position or person. Rather than engage in debate and rebuttal, certain individuals simply screech out (or type out) their favorite nom du jour and avoid any intelligent discussion.

It's going to STOP!

Polite requests have not worked.

Removal of posts has not worked.

Removal of posts and RED comments of UNCIVIL behavior has not worked.

So now, we WILL do something that WILL work!

Henceforth, when any issue arises, or any discussion occurs, and the person trivializes it by either labeling it as:

-- kook

-- nutcase

or any variation thereof, I'm just going to remove the person permanently. Ban them.

I believe that there may be some new "plants" here from that "Acorn" group or something similar. Regardless of who it is, these actions are INCOMPATABLE with Free Speech under the First Amendment.

To have some folks polluting the LP discussions with a low-brow, uneducated method of halting discussion is unacceptable.

It's like urinating in the swimming pool. Uncouth, vulgar, and disgusting.

Earlier, we had various people calling each other names, and it was a personal issue.

This is different.

This will not stand.

If this restriction is intolerable to those who engage in this with your limited mental processes, please don't hesitate to leave. You will NOT be missed.

You are ALL hereby put on notice to cease and desist from this activity: Immediately

If you find a new word that does the same thing....guess what?

This same rule will cause the deletion of the offender.

LP "WILL" be a site for news DISCUSSION. Period.

We will have this added to our official rules.

I don't think she ever forgave me for refuting her with undeniable facts.

There's nothing like undeniable facts for putting a damper on free speech.

I liked them all.

Me too, Fred. I'm still po'd over her LeadPenny ban. I felt like her BelmontConservative ban was on the same lines of emotional tirade run amok.

High Hopes is a good egg. If you can contact him, tell him to come over here. I am certain his commentary would be appreciated. : )

She's been over at LP. I'm sure if she knows she is missed she'll make an appearance here too. She's that kind of gal. : )

LOL We had a Grange member like that. She actually has two lamas that she drives around in her vintage VW bus. She was always one of my favorites but had to be taken in small doses.

Gag! I have more Jewish blood than she does (along with Welsh, Scots-Irish, and 3 Indian Tribes), raised in a secular household, and I have zero desire to defend the criminality of Shittylittlestan. I think that galled her as much as anything - to know that I could trace my Jewish heritage back several centuries. Like most low level Zionuts she has never traced the origin of Zionism to reach the inescapable conclusiong that it is actually Rothschildism i.e., that without Rothschild money Zionism would have died as what it was - a small Jewish heresy which was rejected by virtually all mainstream Rabbis at its illegitimate inception.

I always had the impression that she married a Zionist, never questioning the roots, simply conforming to the ideology, which again conflicts with her claims to intelligence.

From what little I have read on the subject it seems to be a common thread among converts to any group - they become the most ardent of the ardent and cannot bear to have their newfound belief questioned in any way. I can understand that viewpoint but do not share it. I am too obstinate myself - if I cannot validate something through facts and/or comparison to my own experience and knowledge I do not accept it until I can. Converts, to any religion, seem to have an irrational compulsion to accept everything without question.

About the only reason I would go back and visit now is to rattle her cage. And she is in a cage - of her own devising. She knows what she is doing is wrong which why she has to ban all the posters who know. It is insane but then so is Goldi.

Goldi claims to have an IQ of 145, but that's got to be in Celsius, not Fahrenheit, and I think her thermometer is still reading way too high.

145 Celsius = 293 Fahrenheit

At one time I had several hundred prepared links to images and smileys. It was driving the 'bots on el pee crazy(er). They even went as far as to get one image host to cut the links - so I went to a distributed system with some here, some there, etc., ...

The way I did it was to keep them under subheads and then I could just scroll to the subhead, quickly find the link, and then post.

As long as you keep them organized it takes only a few seconds to find the right one.

My kind of person. You ought to see my veggie garden this year - I already have harvested a few ripe tomatoes and in a couple of weeks will have them coming out my ears. I should get my first cukes next week, and I harvested some nice Romaine for a salad today. The melons and peppers are going gangbusters and I should get an earlier than normal harvest off of them.
