Dead Constitution See other Dead Constitution Articles Title: Sotomayor: Wise Latin Liar? “The court of appeals is where policy is made,” said Sonia Maria Sotomayor, in February, 2005, in a panel discussion at Duke University. “The task of a judge is not to make the law, it is to apply the law,” said Sonia Maria Sotomayor, July 13, 2009, at the opening of the senate hearings for her confirmation as a Supreme Court Justice. These two statements alone should convince any objective person that Sotomayor is fundamentally untrustworthy. She is a politician, not a judge. For her, the bench is an opportunity for social engineering. For her, the purpose of a judge is to affect or “change” social values. For her, saying what seems appropriate at the moment is the most important political skill. All major liberals excel at self-contradiction, from the current enemy in the White House on down. “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life” said Sonya Maria Sotomayor, October 26, 2001. “Of course one’s life experience shapes who you are, but … as a judge, you follow the law,” said Sonia Maria Sotomayor to liberal Leahy, June 2, 2009. Again, it requires only the most basic objectivity to see that the woman cannot be trusted. She is demonstrably duplicitous, as well as racist and anti-Constitutional. How this person is to be regarded as fit to serve as a Supreme Court justice is a miracle of liberal delusion. It is a perfect case of race bating of the cheapest grade. As BadEagle.com has pointed out before, her claim to fame is being Puerto Rican, though she hasn’t spoken a word of Spanish in public hearing, nor indicated any cultural connection to Puerto Rico, nor even been known to visit the island. The novelty of being nominated as the first female person of color to the United States Supreme Court is an extremely superficial and essentially erroneous distinction. If she is Spanish, or even a cryptic Jew, her Puerto Ricanness is “white,” not black or Taino (a virtually extinct South American Indian tribe). So, her “wise Latino bit” is a bit far fetched, indeed. Are other minority women automatically “wise” as well? Are all white males simply inevitably lacking in wisdom? In whose estimation–only minority females’? Socially speaking, Sonia Sotomayor represents all that is wrong with America right now. It’s all about the Democrat anti-white movement–willing to use anyone who at least claims to be something other than white–to undo the foundations of the country. There is no stopping this trend. America is changing for the worse. America is changing into a third world, non-white country–by design. And no, I don’t do the “Latina” bit. I’m not concerned about Spanish grammer, spelling, or parts of speech. Spanish doesn’t belong in the English language. This country was founded by white Anglo-Saxon protestants, not Spanish catholics, of any breed. I will not give place to any detail of the Spanish language as though it were a common, necessary, or legal requirement, or even an expected courtesy. This is not a Spanish country. To appoint to the Supreme Court of the United States a racist who prides herself on some kind of foreign connection is preposterous. Our Congress is complicit with the Supreme Court as Public Enemy No.1.

I think that our nicks are 'cap-sensitive' when doing a search, and yes, that was me for about twenty-four hours. It generated some good discussion about Mark Twain and our current PC obsession.
