The only reason Christianity became a "major religion" in the first place was because it was politically expedient for the Emperor Constantine to adopt it and make the "official religion" of Rome. Once that precedent was established, Christianity has been and will forever be nothing more than an instrument of statecraft. This is a classic example of "The State giveth, and the State taketh away." To paraphrase Ricardo Flores Magnon, "Capital, Authority, Clergy: These are the three heads of the hydra that guards the gates of this prison called Earth". If someone chooses to be so naive as to think that Christianity is anything more than a tool of statecraft, forever deemed to be eternally subservient to the State and the whims of the Elites who own the State, then they are going to be acquainted with ugly reality and repeatedly bludgeoned until they either cry "Uncle" or expire. And this is why I give no credence nor do I subscribe to the tenets of Christianity. I don't worship the Flag of the state, I don't worship the currency of the state, and I don't worship the religion of the State. As far as I'm concerned they're all vile heads of an evil hydra, and I refuse to bow before any of them. Pray to "Jesus" and you pray to the emperor and the empire, this is what Christianity has always been and will always be.

None of these 3 devils lived to a ripe old age and Constantine died at age 57 most probably from the effects of poison. Some of the works of the great church historian Eusebius are available online at the Christian Classics Ethereal Library. Go to the site and do a word search. You will not find Preparation for the Gospel or Proof of the Gospel there. In those books, written before Pope Constantine, Eusebius used the titles: Jesus, Lord Jesus and the Lord Jesus Christ frequently. After the ascension of Pope Constantine however you will not find the Name JESUS any more. He used titles like God, Sovereign, Most High, etc., etc. which could be used by pagans to refer to their gods. I tread very lightly in this arena.
In 2007, the FBI reported on concern about white supremacists recruiting soldiers, saying "hundreds" of neo-Nazis were in the active military. But in April, a Department of Homeland Security report on extremism that reiterated much the same point was widely criticized by veterans groups and some conservative politicians as being unpatriotic, leading the Justice Department to retract the DHS report. Critics acknowledge that extremism in the Army is a touchy political subject.

But it is never too late. Earlier today, I was thinking about who was the first 'Christian,' and I concluded that it was the thief on the cross. Jesus had not yet died, or ascended into Heaven, but he told dude that 'today, you shall be with me in Paradise.' Christ had many followers and believers, but until His death, burial, resurrection, and into Heaven, they could not be called Christians. imo. Until the prophecy was fulfilled and the new covenant was in place. Something to knock around, or not.
No atheists in foxholes syndrome.
