Washington Post's lead editorial calls for Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a special prosecutor to "look at the facts and apply the law" for the violent deaths of (terrorism) detainees in US custody. Once the prosecution opens it will lead to the doorstep of Dick Cheney and George W. Bush. It was they who ordered the torture, secret assassination teams, the breathtaking massive spying operation against the American people and, most importantly, launching a war of aggression in Iraq that led to the deaths of nearly one million people at a cost of nearly $2-trillion.
POSTER COMMENT: This call by a (pro-Israel) MSM has gotten Ramsey Clark's team all excited. But the editorial call is puzzling because any investigation would disclose that in all likelihood torture activities, indeed the Iraq war itself, were were instigated by agents of the Israeli lobby in the administration. Any explanation of the rationale for US involvement (on behalf of Israel) in the Afghan and Iraq wars has been a no-no for the Zionist-controlled media. So either the Post knows there's not going to be any investigation of Bush-Cheney or all hell will break loose as far as the Israeli lobby is concerned. The other possibility is the lobby has sanctioned the special prosecutor investigation to take the focus off continued Israeli thievery in Palestine or a possible attack on Iran.
