I demand apologies from all the soldiers over the last eight years who have obeyed illegal orders and committed war crimes in several different countries.
I demand the standing-down of the standing military, thus saving $1.1 trillion a year. Several trillion above and beyond that was stolen from the Pentagon (audit revealed this on Sept. 10, 2001) and most likely wound up in Israel, the instigator of the criminal wars as well as what happened Sept. 11, 2001.
God knows there are enough gun owners in this country to defend it from all enemies, foreign or domestic.
I want one O to explain to me why this war is different than the one in Iraq.
I'd like this "patriot" to explain to me why he apparently discovered his constitutional principles only after his god-emperor, Bush the Magnificent, left office.
Principles are something we hold steadily, regardless of which of the malicious midgets in either party are currently in power.
No points unless you hold your principles consistently, exactly as Ron Paul does. For that matter, as Kucinich generally does or as Russ Feingold or Tom Coburn does.
We do enjoy precisely the government we deserve. So instead of asking why the Usurper is in power, maybe more people should be asking why they so richly deserve our Negro-In-Chief. And they do deserve it richly.
Principles are something we hold steadily, regardless of which of the malicious midgets in either party are currently in power.
Some may be held over from proper upbringing, however the natural course of the human existance dictates that principles are formed and molded in early adulthood. This young fellow is learning to hold steadily, which is more than I can say for most apathetic baby boomers.
How many elections do you think the young soldier has been old enough to vote in? He's one of the few more educated young people who is willing to stand up for what he believes. Too bad more middle aged apathetic Americans don't do the same. He could teach his elders a few lessons on standing up for principles.

Hell, these kids never had a chance. No more than the infants now have a chance in weighing in on the vast debts being accumulated for them to pay off decades from now.

Maybe so, but I am always happy to see the ones who have avoided the indoctrination standing up. No need to wonder why Obama seeks the youth to carry out his agenda. Young people, like this soldier, are the nemisis to the socialist agenda. It sure as hell won't be a bunch of whining baby boomers who take the necessary stand against the system of corruption that they allowed to over run this nation. Those baby boomers will sit on their so called principles, bitching about everybody else, passing blame and wallowing in apathy as they have done for decades. Kudos to the youth who have not been indoctrinated, who actually read the Constitution, who are willing to take a stand that other so called principled patriots refuse to take.

Even the youngest Boomers are pushing fifty.
And the youngsters are all fully indoctrinated. The NEA and the feds saw to that.
Again, these constitutional principles only became evident once the god-emperor (Bush) left office. Prior to that, only a handful of Ron Paul Republicans among the troops ever took a stand.
My point being that you have to hold your principles consistently, not merely based on which partisan faction of the two major crime families in the District currently holds power. This is, in fact, the primary reason why we are in such bad shape as a nation.
It all does come down to the personal character of our citizens in aggregate. That's not a fashionable viewpoint but it is true.

well said. i have to say. i was truly stunned at the number of posters who we've been on these boards with for years--many who i believed were beyond the two party fraud--when their partisanship and loss of principles came to the fore in this last (s)election.

I"m relatively new here.
So, did they ever explicitly say they were beyond the fraud?
Just curious.
If they were here for years, that might match the time smirk was in office. They just might have been partisan all along and were just mad at Chimp nad Darth. But I don't know that. Hence my curiosity.
I sure thought 4um, when created, was comprised of political agnostics, drop
outs and 3rd party types. When Obama appeared, the Ds, who had never showed
their hand when we all ripped Bush to shreds, popped up and took a stand in
his support. You could have knocked my over with a feather when they pulled a
community organizational stunt and tried to sink us, while floating what has
now become a laughing stock of a left wing blog. The bottom line is the one or
two who are regulars here, who did support O, are cautiously pessimistic
having seen that not one thing he promised has happened in the 6 months he's
been in office. We all make mistakes, so there isn't much sense in holding
grudges.
There is no way this board could be sunk by others. The only way, IMO is if Christine decided she had enough and pulled the plug herself. There are some pretty smart people here that will expose these things, and I'm not just saying that. There are no freeptards here.
