"Is Jesus God? In 5 minutes the matter is settled from the Bible - indisputably - irrefutably. Let the Bible speak for itself...Old and New Testament. Hear the words of the Bible, of Jesus himself..."
So if some book claims it's the truth, then everything in it must be true, since the book says it is.
How can people fall for that?
That "book" has a special place in the history of mankind. The Pope (now there's a funny dressing dude that has billions of followers) made it a capital offense to read it, several translators were killed for doing so ... and much prophecy is being fulfilled today that was predicted over 3500 years ago (Daniel). [At least many believe this to be true].
In the end it's up to each person to determine what they believe. And in many instances it's easy to see why those not believing have chosen their position since so many wars and other evils have been committed in the name of God. (Usually fomented by evil men without any help from God).
The lengths that people go to on both sides of the debate to support their determinations can be interesting to watch because (usually) neither side is able to convince the other.
Sometimes I find it difficult to know for sure that our entire existence itself is real especially as of late.
We exist on a rock flying through space at a 1000 M.P.H. and that alone is enough to cause me a certain amount of bewilderment.
