Is that in the verbal sense or as a noun?

"I think the subject which will be of most importance politically is Mass Psychology...It's importance has been enormously increased by the growth of modern methods of propaganda...Although this science will be diligently studied, it will be rigidly confined to the governing class. The populace will not be allowed to know how its convictions were generated." Bertrand Russel, Eugenicist and Logician

Well the ambiguity of the question of course hinges upon in which sense it is intended.

Is "fucked" an entity thus a noun, an action or state of being and thus a verb, or a modifier (adjective) and thus modifying the meaning of people.

So, in order to discuss it the ambiguity needs to be resolved.

I would say that the verbal use of that term is quite final. Quite finite.

Over and done with. Accomplished fact. Virginity is no longer a question.

Well, not everyone is f**cked. But most everyone is one way or another. At least it seems so much of the time. Some more than others. I wasn't directing it at anyone here in particular by any means. Just people I have to deal here and there from day to day. So much bulls**t. So much misunderstanding. So much insanity. So much misinformation, deceit, nonsense. I'm sure you get the picture.

Good point.

I had MD once- it tasted like they had put grape jam and everclear into a blender and let'er rip.

Back in the collegiate days, we had parties where we'd get a new fifty gallon tub, and then everyone would bring 'something' to add to the mix. The very worst of those brews were much better that Mogen David on its best day.

My drink du jour is New Amsterdam Gin and Organic Raw Apple Cider - I've convinced myself that it's quite healthful for me.

The best for olde wud...The Domaine Romanée-Conti

From Forbes (The World's Most Expensive Wines):

The world's most expensive bottle of wine that could actually be drunk today is also the most expensive wine ever sold in America, a Montrachet 1978 from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti that was hammered down at Sotheby's (nyse: BID - news - people ) in New York in 2001. The lot of seven bottles fetched $167,500, or $23,929 per bottle. This is an extraordinary price for a white wine, even in the rarified world of wine collecting. What happened was that two avid collectors were bidding against each other and got carried away, each refusing to yield as the price rose through the stratosphere.

College sissies, wussies.

In the islands we had a large tub, prolly stolen, those that had hard likker contributed, then we stirred it with dirty old broom handle, drank from mess kit tin cups, soon you never heard so much weeping and wailing in your life.

A few would fall off the balcony, others relieve themselves there. Next day would have to send out scouting parties looking for lost souls.

I've always bought my own. Not much of a beer drinker though - the occasional Grolsch Lager or Guinness though - when I'm in the mood. I'm more of a Single Malt and Cognac (but not at the same time) kind of guy. Although once in a drunken spree during my ill spent youth I recall mixing Beer and Glenlivet. My compadre Chris and I thought it was hilarious sacrilege at the time. Tried it again sober and it was absolutely disgusting.

MY Father and Uncle use to make dandelion wine.

It was clear with yellowish tinge. One had to be careful in handling as it would blow the cork off.

So much for post-war inflation. By the time I was stationed overseas it was about 6 bucks for a half gallon of Smirnoff, although 151 Bacardi was 7.75. My favorite Cognac was about 11 bucks a fifth.

Only once have I had Dandelion Wine - it was marvelous - a little sweet but I loved the flavor. The high sugar load would explain the "popping top" as it would probably build up a head of gas in the bottle.

I'll bet. Even then the cost of a bottle of hootch was mostly State and Federal taxes. Take off the taxes and you cut the price by 75%.
