Is that in the verbal sense or as a noun?

"I think the subject which will be of most importance politically is Mass Psychology...It's importance has been enormously increased by the growth of modern methods of propaganda...Although this science will be diligently studied, it will be rigidly confined to the governing class. Well the ambiguity of the question of course hinges upon in which sense it is intended.

Is "fucked" an entity thus a noun, an action or state of being and thus a verb, or a modifier (adjective) and thus modifying the meaning of people.

So, in order to discuss it the ambiguity needs to be resolved.

Well, not everyone is f**cked. But most everyone is one way or another. At least it seems so much of the time. Some more than others. I wasn't directing it at anyone here in particular by any means. Just people I have to deal here and there from day to day. So much bulls**t. So much misunderstanding. So much insanity. So much misinformation, deceit, nonsense. I'm sure you get the picture.

The best for olde wud...The Domaine Romanée-Conti

From Forbes (The World's Most Expensive Wines):

The world's most expensive bottle of wine that could actually be drunk today is also the most expensive wine ever sold in America, a Montrachet 1978 from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti that was hammered down at Sotheby's (nyse: BID - news - people ) in New York in 2001. The lot of seven bottles fetched $167,500, or $23,929 per bottle. This is an extraordinary price for a white wine, even in the rarified world of wine collecting. What happened was that two avid collectors were bidding against each other and got carried away, each refusing to yield as the price rose through the stratosphere.

College sissies, wussies.

In the islands we had a large tub, prolly stolen, those that had hard likker contributed, then we stirred it with dirty old broom handle, drank from mess kit tin cups, soon you never heard so much weeping and wailing in your life.

A few would fall off the balcony, others relieve themselves there. Next day would have to send out scouting parties looking for lost souls.

I've always bought my own. Not much of a beer drinker though - the occasional Grolsch Lager or Guinness though - when I'm in the mood. I'm more of a Single Malt and Cognac (but not at the same time) kind of guy. Although once in a drunken spree during my ill spent youth I recall mixing Beer and Glenlivet. My compadre Chris and I thought it was hilarious sacrilege at the time. Tried it again sober and it was absolutely disgusting.

So much for post-war inflation. By the time I was stationed overseas it was about 6 bucks for a half gallon of Smirnoff, although 151 Bacardi was 7.75. My favorite Cognac was about 11 bucks a fifth.

Back in HS, some friends decided that the thing to do would be to brew their own wine.

They got it all bottled up, and for some insane reason thought that the place to store it would be in one of the guy's car trunk.

Well, it was near the summer of our Spring semester, and things were heating up very nicely during the day.

Returning to the '58 Chevy at the end of classes, we found that all the bottles had over heated/fermented enough to render them terrorists bombs (in today's world).

We just went to the car wash, disposed of the glass, and hosed it down as best we could.

End of story.

That's a good thing about marrying in to a full-bird colonel in the USAF's family.

The wife was as much a part of the promotion process as was he, and how he did his assignment.

She had to entertain, and entertain very well, and that that meant a fully stocked bar and a bar tender at big get-togethers.

Thirty-two years later, we still have a lady who worked at Bergstrom AFB, back in the late forties, to tend our bar needs at Christmas parties.

There is a lot screwed up with the military today, but back then, lasting relationships were formed to last.

Of course flogging for insubordination will not be missed.

I surely would have been flogged endlessly just for insolence, and smiling.

Intoxication, intercourse and infection.

The Military insisted on calling it R and R, rest and relaxation, thats so the ladies would not know what was going on.

If any of you vets, or members here, ever get to the CenTex, let us know.

Should we bring water or whisky?

Lod...

When we would go to Japan on "military business" we were allowed to take several of ground personnel along, also on business you understand.

after a few days, they were all hung over, exhausted, lost weight, some forgot their names etc etc. We would pour them in aircraft and boot them out when home.

Hey. we were all happy for awhile.

We try down here.

We accept folks at face value, until they prove us wrong.

A stranger is just is just a friend that we've not yet met.

You're my friend, until you prove to me that you're not.

A man is as good as his word.

We're pretty simple people with fairly cast in stone rules.

Simplicity is a good thing, down here.

Come visit, you might like it.

Were is the operative word here - I lost my ass with a couple of 'deal's' here.

We have a family well up in the OK that gives us one to four hundred a month, which had been in production since the '40's.

It almost covers my cost of cigs today.

Right now, my steaks are at the grocer.

We're looking at lowline cattle and Boer Goats for the family farm.

If you folks in Texas think its hot right now -

Well I am pretty much speechless.

We had gone to a 4000 acre ranch close to Llano for years and once when we made the mistake to go in Aug - I think my original body melted there at ten in the morning and I must have been reconstituted about nine that evening by snakes, bugs, and ants.

You could consider Belgian Blues. I know they are raised in Texas. However, I am partial to Big Hole River Valley Angus.

The question I would have for her is how does she account for the other geniuses of human history?

How does genetics affect intelligence?

How do you conclude that it is genetics when "God created man in his own image." God however is not a man but a spirit. What does that say about the essential nature of man?

I am guessing Goldi has "Brown Eyes".
