I found Mickey at the last animal shelter I looked. Somebody had already adopted him. They have kids, other dogs, and a fenced-in yard. So I let him go. I could have kept him, but decided he'd be happier with this family. He was hysterical when he saw me, so I took him for a walk and said he had a new family now. He'll forget about me.
Besides, the pug rescue has 20 pugs that need homes, so I'll get another one from them. I only had Mickey four months and wasn't that attached to him, not like Norman.
