The AARP exists for two reasons: to collect dues and to sell overpriced insurance. With the profit from the dues and insurance payoffs it receives, it lobbies Congress for the sole benefit of itself. That's it. Anybody who thinks they give a rats ass about their members is either drunk or just plain stupid.
Exactly. Those old farts don't know what is good for them. Did you know that AARP (years ago) sided with anti-second amendment right issues? They are a mass conspiracy group designed to be against the basic fabric and tenets of America.

For the mainstream, I use my AMX charge card. I have better rates and nicer beds. :)
What is a charge card?
In my case, I travel all over the world. I use charge cards for business not personal considerations. It makes it easy for me to take the card billing statements to the comptroller of my company for assessment. In April-May this year, I was dealing with customers in France and the Netherlands. The issues of currency exchange were humongous in terms of paper trails. Sorry, but there is a place for everything. Charge cards when used appropriately and responsibly are good tools in today's world. :)
And next month, I am off to England for a week. :)
