Yes, she was walking around the parking lot with a knife. The female cop grabbed the hand with the knife swinging the old lady around and slamming her to the ground cracking her skull open. I hope the family sues and I hope the guy got his video on the news. I'm surprised no one screamed racism as the cops were white and the lady black. The tone of the audio suggested this was standard for the police force though.

Yeah I think the lady cop did but their actions were unjustified in my book. Take a little more time to defuse and talk her down. Her daughter was there. Slamming her to the ground was over reaction at best.

Maybe she was just trying to safely make it to her ride...and pre-emptily, ward off any nere do wells?

I saw their security there though. I recently got into it with a security guard at a store. He was hurting a young man and mama doesn't like that.
