Regardless, IMO, neither Marguerite, Magician nor Goldi give a damn about the United States and would sell us out in a New York minute if they thought that it would help Israel. IMHO that's why the three of them are going berserk over Obama. It has nothing at all to do with what Obama and the Democans are planning for this country and everything to do with how they believe his administration will affect Israel.
I think you overstate it a bit.
For them, Israel is primary but resisting American socialism and the advance of big-government relates to a government powerful enough and Dim-dominated enough that they could cut off Israel from foreign aid or impose "peace" on Israel in ways that aid-greedy and landgrabbing Israeli Likudists would not welcome.
The neocon-Likudist alliance and agenda is what seems primary here. I think Magician posts a lot of bogus conspiracy articles from Debka and other phony sources just to fan the evangelical apocalyptic flames, a stronger tactic than many would suspect. It is intended to create a site with strongly pro-Israel tendencies that will place Israel's importance and welfare on a par with the States. Israel is actually more important than even Britain, the so-called special relationship. If Britain is a country with a "special relationship" with us, then Israel has an "unquestionable relationship", something that cannot be discussed as we would discuss relations with any other nation in the world. This is no accident and is the result of a deliberate campaign of many decades to create what is essentially a mind-block in public policy discussion on the topic of Israel.
Maybe, maybe not. There is the question of how Marguerite was able to post on LP when it was taken offline. I guess that Goldi could have given her access. Then again,...

Maybe in the case of Goldi I am but I do not believe I am in the case of Marg or Magician. IMHO Magician is an outright traitor to his country who is actually proud of the fact that his daughter moved to Israel and joined the Israeli army and then moved back after she was finished. He sees nothing wrong with this, although he would be the first person to condemn an American of Iranian descent (or any other descent) whose child did the same thing. I find both him and his daughter despicable. I can't help but wonder what type of intel training she received from the Israeli government that she is using against the United States as we speak.
Then of course there is the fact that Magician screams anti-Semite anytime someone says something about Israel that he doesn't like, while at the same time posting as many anti-Christian screeds that he can find - and doesn't see the hypocrisy.

I knew that LP was heading down this road when my contribution to the last fund raiser comprised such a large % of what she said was raised. At the time of the last funder, I sent Goldi an email telling her that I would talk to her ISP people about working out a deal and arranging through a third party buddy of mine equipment upgrades that she could pay off over time on her own schedule...I told her that such an offer would come "no strings" but I never heard back from her...but she did always thank me for my money.
As for her moderating "skills". They were far too subject to caprice. I don't believe that she ever put the site above her own ego and, in the end, it did not serve her well. There was absolutely no reason to ban High Hopes, Ntter, Belmont and soo many others to numerous to name. I watched PipeBomb go down due to the bias of the moderator...therein lies the lesson.
As for Marguerite...it is obvious that "she" is several people posting under one account. The writing styles and level of proper usage and grammar varied greatly depending upon the time of day. ONly a fool would believe "she" was one person.
So admit (through cowardly omission, naturally) that Goldi-lox's new rule (sic) was complete BS?

In the end we'll never really know, so there is no reason to argue about it, and surely no reason to become enemies over. Both Marg and Goldi have expressed need for special reparations for American Indians. I don't consider that to be a right wing issue.
Marg wants our kids to die for and our money to pay to fight for Israeli causes, unless called on it then she will back down temporarily. Certainly not another right wing issue, unless you considered JFK to be another right winger.
