Not bitterness, disgust. I despise liars and hypocrites and Goldi-Pox is both. Goldi has systematically eliminated dissenting voices upon little or no pretext - and speak not only of my own banning (aristeides and FormerLurker come to mind and I know there have been others since). I was not banned for any breach of the forum rules but for pointing out that Goldi was in violation of her own alleged standards. So, she either had to admit and recant or take the coward's way out and ban those who were not content to let the matter remain un-noted. She followed the path of the dishonest and banned the dissent.

Pro-Israel Posters such as yukon and Buttsmeller (and she invited Byteshredder over to combat what she perceived as "anti-Israel" posters i.e., those who did not excuse Shittylittlestan for acting like the 3rd Reich of the Middle East gaining the upper hand by the foul device of posting the truth) are allowed a free pass for any violation of forum rules and are routinely discourteous, threatening, and add nothing to the discussion other than vitriol and disinformation. I judge Goldi-Pox by the company she keeps as much as by her own hypocritical actions.

You may be right in certain cases...

But what some of you people forget is NOT every owner of a forum is going to moderate as though it's a "civil rights" situation.

ALL owners have their biases, their favorites, issues that are most near and dear to them, and have a right to be discriminate as they see fit - it's their forum.

The larger the forum, the more moderation is needed simply because of the sheer volume of posters and diversity of ideologies. That "moderation" is ALWAYS going to reflect the ideology of the Host or Hostess, like it or not.

Different views ARE and have been welcomed and aired at LP, but it's not ever going to be a pro-Islam, pro-socialist, anti-conservative site. I believe Goldi is a fair Hostess. To those who insist on over-obsessing on issues with respect to Israel and baiting the Hostess are probably not going to endure for the long haul.

I doubt anyone has a problem with that.

The problem is that she hung out a sign that said all opinions were welcomed. Then she collected donations on that basis for years from people that believed in what she was doing. Early on she started banning her political opponents with chickenshit rules and excuses so she could rig the debate in favor of the war in Iraq and Israel, etc. Obviously it had nothing to do with the rules because nobody cares less about her rules than she does herself. Then she rubs her enemies noses in it by letting her dwarfs break the same rules with impunity. Then her dwarfs rub everyones noses in it.

Why do you need to have this explained to you? What is it that keeps you from seeing it by yourself?

I am considering buying the new EIDE terabyte drives she needs; perhaps a new MB to boot: a quad core 2.5Gig with 16Gig of DRAM. That offer ought to get some of these Sally swallowers out of here.

I am thinking of emailing her too. But I will leave that up for some LPer to do.
