We don't have a cat now, but last night the neighbors' cat sat outside our window and made me feel sorry for him until I let him in. He made himself comfortable on the pile of clothes on the floor and made odd noises until he fell asleep and started snoring. Then a few hours later he woke up and insisted I let him out.I like cats.

One of our's scoops the food from the bowl onto the floor and then eats it. We have put the food directly on the floor but it will not eat it...it has to do it. Don't ask me why.
My dog has funny eating habits too. He eats cats. Not whole cats. He just nibbles at the insides, and I have to bury the rest.

Our neighbor used to have a cat who would scoop the dry food into the water dish and let it soak before scooping it into his paw and eating it. He was one of those smart Russian blues. Quite a character, none of my cats were ever that innovative.
They never could teach him to clean up the mess though.lolol

Palo this is a true story. My wife used to work at this place. The bosses son would look through the classifieds for free kittens. He would go and get the kittens and promise them a good home.
