For your perusal on the great Bob Novak:

Human Events ----

http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=33189

(Snip) —

Bob was Illinois and early in life was most at home in sports bars and, throughout his years in Washington, at unfashionable University of Maryland basketball games....

By day, however, Novak worked political sources like no other reporter. That is why so many people would be astonished when his political sources would become known. It was stunning when Novak revealed that the Democratic senator who dismissed the McGovern for President campaign as being about little more than “amnesty, abortion and acid” was none other than Thomas Eagleton, who McGovern would later (albeit briefly) choose as his vice presidential nominee. Who would have imagined that Novak’s source for the Valerie Plame CIA column was Richard Armitage, Colin Powell’s No.2 and certainly no friend of the Bush White House.

The fact is that Novak, as he would disclose in his autobiography, actually admired very few politicians. He wrote that he found the first politicians he covered less impressive than the athletic coaches he had covered as a young reporter -- “an impression of the political class that did not change appreciably in a half-century of sustained contact.” (lol)

Training Your Cat in Two Easy Lessons

By Dr. Wu Tao-Wei

(snip) —

No matter the cat, it will usually outsmart most people. It's so cute when it meows! You just want to give it a pat or a hug or a belly rub! This costs nothing except for your freedom from feline wiles.

Because of their Zen-like awareness and sensitivity to the smallest sounds and sights in their immediate vicinity, they have a certain mystique of appearing to be intelligent.

Oh, a cat can sit for hours with ears alert and eyes keen awaiting his opportunity at a mouse hole, but to wait even two seconds for you to explain why it should behave, is not something that is interesting to a cat. They will squirm away like children or run away like juvenile delinquents and hide.

Anyone who has ever tried to teach anything to a cat, knows that even the smartest cat is obstinate. That is, the cat will insist on having things its own way, whether you like it or not.

(lol) -- I love felines........

Well there Liberator, ok, perhaps I didn't see the full text and saw what you posted out of context, but you HAVE to know for a fact Goldi banned MANY people PRIOR to Obama's Inaugeration on totally unrelated issues, such as anything which was contrary to the interests of Israel and those who profit from war and misery.

In fact, the main reasons for banning were for trying to post info on 9/11 contrary to the official fairy tale, and posting positive info on Ron Paul.

Anything raising questions concerning Israeli actions in its various hostilities and conflicts would also be cause for banning, where I was banned once for criticizing Israeli attacks on UN observers (the very topic we were on when she jumped on an excuse to ban me), and one year later when I was criticizing the push to bomb Iran (that "discussion" involved ByteShredder and Margurette). She jumped on the chance to ban me there (more than likely upon double-team emails to her from ByteShredder and Marguette).

So lately I've seen you becoming very chummy and cozying up with both of them. Then you wonder why I see you as I do.

Lurker, it's yours or anyone else's prerogative to regard and judge me or other posters in accordance with your own experience. Certain posters are just not going to like each other - yeah, it happens. Who I'm "chummy" with at times is irrelevant, as is vice versa. I agree with no one 100%, and I'm sure as hell no one agrees with me all the time.

I'm with you on 9/11 and believed RP threads were fine - although there was spamming. I'm also anti-UN. In ANY case. Israel can be wrong and has been on occasion - but between they and the Muslims I will NEVER take the side of Islam.

With respect to Goldi and bannings, sheeeet - it's her forum. I don't follow all who've bitten the dust. I don't follow individual beefs. Now there are a few I may have kept on that she jettisoned, but yet unloaded others she hasn't. It's NOT a Democracy. And of course the issue of Israel is important to her, thus there are limitations to the slack she extends.

I don't either condemn or give carte blanche to a people simply because of their religion. Israel is not Judaism, just as the Palestinian people are not Islam.
