Third one down, SB 61 "requires that any child under 8 years of age be restrained in an approved child passenger safety seat unless the child is 4 fee, 9 inches in height." !!!!!! Utter BS!!!!!
Most vehicles which were built before 1964 weren't equipted with seat belts and have always been exempt from these rules, weren't they.?
They are grandfathered, even though they are frowned upon. Case in point- my '67 Mustang came equiped with only a lap belt. DPS would like to see a shoulder belt, but I am not required to install one.
