The 9/11 meeting from Hell!

So there I was at this 9/11 truth meeting and I must admit I left dismayed. It wasn’t the 9/11 stuff but the human behavior. I can’t figure people out sometimes. I’m left scratching my head wondering why.

First was the half dressed lady. I assume she was one of the people from Davis since she was dressed the part. Davis is a liberal college town. Bohemian is in. Now I’m sure all the guys are wishing they were at the meeting, picturing a young nubile co-ed. I assure you that was not who attended though her attire was more suited to that age group. If your hair has more salt than pepper perhaps you should no longer wear the shorty bare midriff tank top, especially if your body has seen better days. And women’s lib is dead, put on a bra for God’s sake!

She has the right to dress as she pleases but expect that people won’t take you seriously if you don’t know how to dress for a public meeting in a restaurant. When you are dealing with a subject like 9/11, credibility is important. Anything you do to detract from that credibility will be blown out of proportion and used to discredit us all.

Then there was the coexist literature on the table. My guess is the same gal brought it. I wonder how she would feel if I brought Christian tracts, Watch Tower magazines or something. Religion doesn’t belong at these meetings. Mine, hers or anyone else’s.

A lot of side issues were talked about at the meeting. GMO crops, H1N1 shots, well you know the list. I had to laugh at one of the issues. Clear cutting. Oh I know a lot can be said about whether or not to clear cut but that wasn’t what caught my attention. Their contention was that clear cutting was part of the conspiracy in that the global elite were doing it to deprive us of oxygen. Huh?

If you are going to talk about 9/11 and use scientific studies, physics and such, shouldn’t you know at least some of the basics of science? If you are going to believe we get our oxygen from the forests then you are also likely to believe CO2 comes from man. What other fallacies are you likely to believe? BTW, the bulk of both comes from the oceans.

If this wasn’t bad enough there was the guy who flat out lied to me. He was passing out information on the PASS Act, S. 1261. This is the fed’s nastier version of Real ID. Hey legislation is my thing so I asked him if he was aware of SB60, California’s authorization of Real ID. He didn’t want to hear about it. I can be stubborn so I pushed the issue. In order to brush me off he told me it had been vetoed. I was pretty sure this wasn’t the case but I hadn’t paid much attention to the latest updates and couldn’t say with certainty. Unlike this guy, I actually look bills up. Of course the bill hadn’t moved much less been vetoed. I don’t think Arnold would veto it even with the licenses for illegals in the bill. The Republican's won't vote for that part. That's is the only reason the bill hasn’t moved.

So I left the meeting shaking my head wondering about people, my hopes for getting involved with an active, effective group dashed. 9/11 truth is an important issue and I was dismayed that it was being spearheaded by a group of 60s leftovers, science illiterates and political activist wannabes. I’m not one to give up easily so I’ll give it one more try. However, I’m more pessimistic than hopeful. Subscribe to *Humor-Weird News*

At least she was dressed this last meeting. Not sure if this meeting was better than last or not. The liberal gay playwrights were a bit much!

And here I thought you would be "out in front".
