For immediate release:

Next week, Cindy Sheehan will join other like-minded peace activists to have a presence near the expensive resort on Martha's Vineyard where President Obama will be vacationing the week of August 23-30.

From her home in California, Ms. Sheehan released this statement:

"There are several things that we wish to accomplish with this protest on Martha's Vineyard. First of all, no good social or economic change will come about with the continuation or escalation of the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. We simply can't afford to continue this tragically expensive foreign policy.

Secondly, we as a movement need to continue calling for an immediate end to the occupations even when there is a Democrat in the Oval Office. There is still no Noble Cause no matter how we examine the policies.

Thirdly, the body bags aren't taking a vacation and as the US led violence surges in Afghanistan and Pakistan, so are the needless deaths on every side.

And, finally, if the right-wing can force the government to drop any kind of public option or government supported health care, then we need to exert the same kind of pressure to force a speedy end to the occupations."

Cindy Sheehan will arrive on the Vineyard on Tuesday, August 25th.

I will have to say this about her. She's a nutjob, but at least she's a consistent nutjob. Most of the anti-war moonbats were just fine with the wars once Bush was no longer the Commander in Chief.

I guess once you have no credibility what so ever, you are free to say anything.

Bush was no longer the Commander in Chief.

When the Bush & Chaney kids trudge off to the wars their fathers started, you Republican whack-jobs will then have some credibility. As for the silent Obama anti-war folks, what did anyone expect but rank hypocrisy? It's a "good war" now that He's CIC..

Well at least she is consistent. Batchit crazy, but consistent. I wonder if any national media will cover her since she is protesting their boss?

All of a sudden dissent is no longer patriotic.

This lady needs to understand...WE NEED A POLITICAL CHANGE...

Miss Sheehan, it is the government that is the enemy, it is the government that does not want a political change, they like the system just as it is.

If you want to demonstrate, do so in such a manner that you indicate the entire government must go...top to bottom...now...before it ends in violence.

The worm turns and it's The Halfrican's burden to defend the senseless bloodshed in Ashcanistan.

Maybe The Cindy should start focusing on the huge expenses from this little vacation.

Sounds like more than $100K for the rental and the extra security.

She might get more attention doing that.

At any rate, I'm surprised any of the Lefties, so vocal against BushCo, are still making any protests at all. I think she'll be lucky to scare up a dozen fellow-protesters.

Cindy is continuing to bark up the wrong tree. To clue in Americans about the reason the U.S. is fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan her protest rally has to be in front of AIPAC headquarters, better still at its annual convention site. After all it was the Israeli lobby, along with MSM that its associates control, that pushed America into these wars against Israel's enemies.

Sheehan has to realize the stranglehold Organized Jewry has on Congress as well as the President as a result of its funding of political campaigns and infiltration into key positions of both national political parties, then into the administration itself from where it's agents can guide U.S. foreign policy, including the three military campaigns. Until Sheehan can get across to American people that Israel's lobby (not voters or politicians) has total control over U.S. politics and is working solely in the interests of that illegal terrorist state there's nothing Obama can do to wind down the wars. If he tries then he'll be cut off from funding in his re-election campaign, that's if someone doesn't happen to find that long lost birth certificate before his first term ends.

Cindy Sheehan Against Israel

One reason that the President DID NOT give for the invasion and occupation of Iraq was so that Iraqis could have elections. As a matter of fact, that was Ayatollah Ali al Sistani's idea..not Bush's. If the president in his lying and betraying in the lead up and rush to this insane invasion had told the world that we were going over there to give Iraqi's elections, would we the people have gone along with the invasion? Would we as compassionate Americans have thought that it would have been worth billions and billions of dollars; hundreds of our amazing children dead; tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi women and children dead: a country lying in ruins? I don't think so. I certainly didn't raise my son to be an outstanding citizen of the world to go and die so some people could have ink-stained fingers!!! If anyone reading this has children, would you think it was worth it?? Instead of some Congress leaders showing ink-stained fingers at the SOTU address they should have held up blood soaked hands.

Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel. My son joined the Army to protect America, not Israel. Am I stupid? No, I know full-well that my son, my family, this nation, and this world were betrayed by a George Bush who was influenced by the neo-con PNAC agenda after 9/11. We were told that we were attacked on 9/11 because the terrorists hate our freedoms and democracy...not for the real reason, becuase the Arab-Muslims who attacked us hate our middle-eastern foreign policy. That hasn't changed since America invaded and occupied Iraq...in fact it has gotten worse.

It would be so amazing if your show would put me, or another parent who lost their child on who disagrees with the war and this administration: to have just an entire show..without presenting the false side of the debate. That would take a lot of courage and integrity. I hope your program will exhibit these qualities.

I also think that Mr. Koppel owes me an apology for the rude way I was treated on his show. After I expressed myself about the war being based on lies and that the troops should be brought home immediately because the war was based on lies, I was not thanked for my comments, or my son's sacrifice. He just said to keep the discussion away from emotions. Then, the wife of a soldier who was killed was allowed to speak and she praised the policies of this deplorable and despicable administration, and she was thanked and praised by the panel.

Also, another aspect that Mr. Koppel refused to acknowledge was when a man walked up to a microphone and asked Richard Perle to explain PNAC..he was rudely ignored.

Love and Peace!!!

It's indeed encouraging that Cindy knows that the real reason America led the attack on Iraq/Afghanistan was to enhance Israel's security but it's discouraging that she's targeting the president in view of the circumstances (Lobby's control of elections/media) being beyond the president's control. When she targets the president she's playing into the hands of Organized Jewry because the scoundrels like nothing better than having attention diverted from their criminality in Palestine and from their conniving coerciveness in getting others to do their fighting for them. And since media, under Zionist control, won't make an issue of the wars to "benefit Israel" Cindy is acting just like any of the lobby's disinformation agents when she attacks the president, leaving voters unenlightened and even more mystified as to what's really going on.

BTW just wondering why you and others don't make URLs clickable like so:
