Former Bush Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge is releasing a book on September 1 titled, “The Test of Our Times: America Under Siege…and How We Can Be Safe Again.” U.S. News’ Paul Bedard reports that, in the book, Ridge reveals that he considered resigning because he was urged to issue a politically-motivated security alert on the eve of Bush’s re-election: Playing politics with terror was a relatively frequent occurrence in the Bush administration. In August 2004, the AP reported that even “some senior Republicans” privately questioned Ridge’s timing of a terror alert that came just three days after the Democratic National Convention. According to the AP report, “One top GOP operative, who works closely with Bush’s political team, said the White House appeared to overplay its hand, and voters may smell politics behind the warning.”
Among the headlines promoted by publisher Thomas Dunne Books: Ridge was never invited to sit in on National Security Council meetings; was “blindsided” by the FBI in morning Oval Office meetings because the agency withheld critical information from him; found his urgings to block Michael Brown from being named head of the emergency agency blamed for the Hurricane Katrina disaster ignored; and was pushed to raise the security alert on the eve of President Bush’s re-election, something he saw as politically motivated and worth resigning over.

I've thought of a couple of ways: 1. We could wait for foreigners like the Chinese, or Russians to liberate us from the criminal government we now have and have had for generations. Interestingly prior to the fall of Rome many Roman Citizens had similar sentiments. 2. We could wait until the Collossus know as the US FED GOV implodes under the weight of its own criminality and destructiveness. This is the thesis of "A discourse on voluntary servitude" 3. Revolution, I suppose, but historically it has proven to have quite uncertain outcomes, so I am not a fan. For example, can any rational being offer reasonable support to the idea that we are much better off under the US FED GOV than we would have been under the British, and I am not a fan of Monarchy? The most likely scenario is #2 in my estimation.
He knew full well they eat their own. He chose to play in their game, in a powerful office to be sure, so he can't blame them for the position he allegedly was in. He served his wicked purpose and like the others will one day surely answer for his crimes...

Isn't Ridge the RepubliPerv who had his children annoint him with Crisco (especially, um, down there) in some freaky religious ceremony so he could better battle the terriers?
