God must really have a thing for hot right-wing politicians with questionable grips on reality and nothing but pure Jesus love in their hearts.

HE is always trying to tempt them with his "higher callings" and cryptic messages from heaven above. First it was devoted servant of the lord Sarah Palin who was forced to resign as governor of Alaska to pursue her higher calling of becoming Queen of the Facebooks and head ruler of Twitterland. What can you do when it's God's will?

But taking our sweet Alaskan bunny out of the political arena a year and a half before her term ended wasn't enough to satisfy Mr. Fickle Creator of the Universe.

Now he's got his sights on Minnesota's own crazy lady Representative Michele Bachmann, a remarkable women who "began her political career simply, as a Christian mom concerned about the content of school papers her children brought home in their backpacks, but today has become one of the leading defenders of liberty and conservative principles on Capitol Hill."

Well Minnesota's own Virgin Mary Michele Bachmann may just be gearing up to show her true freedom-defending color (white) to the world as a possible GOP presidential candidate in 2012--if a certain special someone wants her to that is.

"If I felt that’s what the Lord was calling me to do, I would do it. When I have sensed that the Lord is calling me to do something, I’ve said yes to it. But I will not seek a higher office if God is not calling me to do it. That’s really my standard. If I am called to serve in that realm I would serve. But if I am not called, I wouldn’t do it."

What is God waiting for? Did HE forget? Lose his voice from coaching Sarah? Perhaps it's some kind of test? Why else would God deny the world the guiding light that is Michele Bachmann? He did it for George W. Bush--with spectacular results! Besides, this wouldn't be the first time Dear Savior called upon Michele to run for public office.

"...God then called me to run for the United States Congress. And I thought, 'what in the world would that be for?' And my husband said, 'You need to do this,' and I wasn't so sure. And we took three days and we fasted and we prayed, and we said, 'Lord is this what You want? Is this Your will?' And He made that calling sure. And it's been now 22 months that I've been running for United States Congress. Who in their right mind would spent two years to run for a job that lasts for two years? You'd have to be absolutely a fool to do that. You are now looking at a fool for Christ. This is a fool for Christ."

Well, at least she got one part right.

Michelle Bachmann is great.

She's magnifico!

Conservatives are always clamoring for our reps to speak on behalf of us; Bachmann does so and is dissed?

Either they hate women, hate her because she's a Christian, or aren't comfortable until they see a man take the RATS and the system to task... We're STILL waiting for one of these pansies to speak up.

How so?

Yeah, he's stubborn and still young; I was laughing at the way you put it...Huh?...Now we could have been riding shotgun for 6 million years ourselves re: God? Oh how I wish we could have shared in the partaking of funny cigs back in the day :-)

But while we're on time tracks and topical, I calculate it would have taken me 3.5 billion years to believe the bullsh*t of one Barack Hussein 0bumski.

So that is your #1 beef with Bachmann and why you consider her "dippy"? Btw, "dippy" describes 90% of the politicians in any case...

Here in the US we've got an administration and gubmint that's taking us all to the cleaners, planning to corral us like livestock, poisoning our food and water, and bending us over, and you're dwelling on a pro-Israel sovereignty issue?

You've got to pick your priorities better than that.

Believe me; I am acutely aware of Israel's disproportionate influence on America's policy, and am not thrilled with it...

By the same token I believe globalist NWO Elites are running the "Operation." This entire operation and cabal is comprised of a diverse group of b@stards.

Darling I am New Age
Yes we believe in one life to a customer, but that God created everyone as eternal beings, we all live forever
and that there was no time when we we did not exist
which means the 6 million years from the Fall to now
is as an instant, since we were Created way before the Universe was
I realize New Age beliefs differ from traditional religions
I know nothing about any traditional religions, I am guessing they believe we start life at our birth on earth
and that eternal life has to be earned?

(Lod) Yes. He's standing there at the door (of our heart) knocking.
It is up to us to open it, and invite Him in.

I agree with you 100% Lod
that is my belief too
I can see the logic behind it now
He gave us free will
which I guess is the choice to be close to Him and know Him or to choose to believe He does not exist and we created ourselves
He would always be at the door of our heart knocking, hoping we will invite Him in
but He would never force Himself in
wouldn't that be taking away our free will?

I wonder if it is similar to me and the kittens
a cat from outside adopted us in November, she is close to both of us
she had kittens on St Patricks Day
they run away from me whenever they see me
altho each morning I bring them their tuna fish, bowl of milk, bowl of iced water, and big bowl of crunchies (so they can snack all day)
but they treat me like the bogeyman
and I love them so dearly, I loved them before they were born

but isn't it up to them, they can run away from the "monster" ?
or come to me and have pets and caresses
I can do nothing but love them, the choice is theirs?
Love, Palo

LOL I guess I am stubborn minded if it took me 6 million years plus 40 years to find my way back to God
but now God is my whole life
I do think a lot (during the commercials on the TV, when I have it muted) about what Heaven is like
I believe it is the natural home God created for us
where we live before we came to earth and where we return to afterwards

I once read a very odd book
an English parson who had arrived in Heaven
asked Jesus for permission to communicate to his friend back in the world what Heaven is like
Jesus gave him permission
so I guess the book I read is what his friend took down

it was mainly about his first few weeks in Heaven
the day he arrived etc
he said the house he was given to live in was identical to the house he had back home
but every addition and improvement he had ever dreamed of, was made
also the lawn did not need to be mowed

since this is the only concrete info I ever read about Heaven
I thought about what I wanted for my house
I want my back lawn to open up to a lagoon
with a canoe or raft big enough for all my animals to go on with me, all the dogs and cats I ever had
and I thought it would be nice to drift down all the streams of Heaven with my animals, and explore Heaven that way
LOL it seems totally normal to think this way when the commercial on TV is muted and my head is on my pillow
but I guess I sound like a crackpot posting it on 4um
obviously I like lagoons :)
Love, Palo

PS the parson also described Jesus' house, he had to go there to ask permission
I don't remember the inside of the house, I remember the parson said Jesus had white roses growing in his garden
of course an Englishman would notice the flowers, the English love flowers
but I still think I want pink roses in my garden

PS, ya know Loddy when I read the parson said "Jesus told him the white rose is his favorite"
at first (even tho pink roses have always been my favorite since I was a little girl)
I thought I would switch to white roses for my garden in Heaven too
as who of us does not love Jesus with all our hearts
how could I not want what he likes best
LOL I went back and forth about this for 2 days
and finally decided on pink, it is my favorite
I want lilac trees too, their scent is divine
and water lilies in my lagoon :)
I love you

I'm just a normal mullet, saved by Grace,

who tries to treat others, as I would have them treat me.

I have to keep it really, really, simple here, Palo Verde.

Christ gave us only two Commandments:

Love the Lord, thy God, with all your heart, mind, and soul, and the second is like unto it:

Love thy neighbor, as thyself.

Just two simple rules that could replace the bazillion of laws, statutes, and regulations that we we now face, and endure.

Loddy, the really interesting thing (one of them) about the parson's book about Heaven
is how homey Heaven sounded
he took a stroll to the town near his house his first day and described the town
I have read a few totally inspired and inspiring books about Heaven
(how can I not be curious what it is like)
but this one by the English parson is one of my favorites, because it is all details
I never realized it is details which makes things easy to see and experience while you read it
give a picture which is tangible
Love, Palo

he described the food, the clothes, his furniture in his house, everything
and how happy he is he doesn't have to mow the lawn
the grass always stays at something like one and half inches
I didn't pay attention to the inches, because I never mowed a lawn

You have evidently not reached the level of political maturation that is required if one desires to successfully navigate the political swamp.

You must rise above the level of those that are still harnessed in the arcane notion of two parties, two ideologies, etc etc.

You must think and consider, politics as...ONE...party, one system, one ruling elite, one government.

Now it is up to you to master the upgrading.

No question as we know Zionism has converts with both parties however it was under Bush that they were given voice and shaped his policy which is now being welded by the ADL and SPLC who unlike the Chritian Zionist wing of the Republican Party have a seat the table and great influence on the hill.
