I’m writing to let you know that I will be holding a Telephone Town Hall Meeting on healthcare reform on Monday, August 24th at 6:40pm. If you’d like to participate in the meeting, you must go to my website eshoo.house.gov and fill out the webform with your contact information and phone number. You must choose “Telephone Town Hall” from the Issues drop down box on the webform to ensure that we receive your contact information in a timely manner. You will then automatically be added to the list to be called for all Telephone Town Hall Meetings. If you have already signed up to participate in Telephone Town Hall Meetings you do not need to enter your contact information again unless you would like your phone number to be removed from our contact list.
Due to capacity limitations, only my constituents will be able to participate in this Telephone Town Hall Meeting. To ensure that you’re able to participate, please use the webform at eshoo.house.gov to enter your contact information no later than 12:00pm on Monday, August 24th. I wonder what they do to people at a Telephone Town Hall who read directly from the bill. Page 425 says they can audit your finances and take money directly from your account. No procedure given as to how you get your money back.
