According to his website, a GOP candidate running for the U.S. Senate from Bowling Green, raised more than $686,000 in one day - but he didn't meet his goal. Eye surgeon Rand Paul tried to raise one-million-dollars yesterday, all on the internet.
He borrowed the idea from his father, Texas Republican Ron Paul, who banked six-million-dollars in a single day, for his Presidential campaign last year.
Rand expects to face two other Republicans, Secretary of State Trey Grayson, and western Kentucky businessman Bill Johnson in next year's primary election.
