We had a superb time in Mexico last March, and I thought I would post a few pictures of that trip. Planning on going back in November.

We have at least one poster here with a predilection for playing the skin flute, but only if they're made in israel.

Tom really was taking the pic of the girl in tight blue pants, can't fool me.

Did I tell you I hate Tom???? I do. He wanders around such places and then rubs it in our wounds like salt.

When you are there, you do not leer at the girls do you????

Do you mean the lithe brown bodies, glowing developed active girls in wildly provocative bikinis dancing suggestively on the foaming fertile beach surrounded by spouting frothing waves.

No, not at all, why do you ask?

Nice pics.

How were prices there? How safe did you think it was?

Prices - Fantastic, tho we did hit the peak of the $/peso ratio. Got 14.1 pesos at one point, now its about 13.5, still very nice.

A SOL (beer) served to you with chips and salsa on a beachside table with a white tablecloth was all of $0.47.

A great breakfast was $3.5, our hotel in Malaque, two beds great patio w kitchenette was $17 a night.

Dinner on the streets and a very tasty one at that ran about $3.00.

Safe?

Very safe, not even a hint of a problem. Course this is a pretty happy part of Mexico, and at 10 or 10:30 we were home.

What area or resort were you in? Is it just a beach resort town or are there any museums or ruins to go sightseeing?

Naw. This is just one of the many villages off the track that some folks discover after rooting around in Mexico.

They can be just GREAT and so friendly cause they really want you there because the business is welcomed and they are interested in North Americans.

There is a world down there that would boggle most North Americans.

They desire decent Americans with a few dollars to spend. And are usualy very interested in who these people are.

Kind and generous are the descriptions used since the era of the Conquestadors.

To clarify

We flew in to Puerto Vallarta, that's where the cheap flights are.

Nothing wrong with PV, Fantastic city, Love it, BEAUTIFUL.

But it is a tourist town - a good tourist town.

We booked a first class bus to Malaque, 125 miles South down the coast from PV for $11.00 each.

Melaque was FREQQQQQING fantactic. Small, no crime or threat, seemingly happy folks (this is something we monitor closely) Drop dead beautiful bay and all the great facilities you desire.

So we view PV as a place to land and get good value air fare, and fron there we will always go south along the coast.

As for ruins, I don't think there are many for two reasons. One the Mexic Empire was not around here, and if they were the humidity and beach slovents destroyed them.
