BAGRAM, Afghanistan — Military commanders with the NATO mission in Afghanistan told President Barack Obama's chief envoy to the region this weekend that they did not have enough troops to do their job, pushed past their limit by Taliban rebels who operated across borders.

The commanders emphasized problems in southern Afghanistan, where Taliban insurgents continue to bombard towns and villages with rockets despite a new influx of U.S. troops, and in eastern Afghanistan, where the father-and-son-led Haqqani network of militants has become the main source of attacks against U.S. soldiers and their Afghan allies.

The possibility that more troops will be needed in Afghanistan presents the Obama administration with a new problem in dealing with a nearly 8-year-old war that has lost popularity at home, compounded by new questions over the credibility of the U.S.-backed Afghan government, which has just held an as-yet inconclusive presidential election beset by complaints of fraud.

The assessments about troop needs came as the top American commander in the region, Gen. Stanley McChrystal, has been working to complete a major war strategy review, and as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen, described a worsening situation in Afghanistan despite the recent addition of 17,000 U.S. troops ordered by the Obama administration and the extra security efforts surrounding the presidential election.

"I think it is serious,

and it is deteriorating," Mullen said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union" program. "The Taliban insurgency has gotten better, more sophisticated, in their tactics."

He added that McChrystal was still completing his review and had not yet requested additional troops on top of the those added by Obama.

The U.S. commanders in Afghanistan spoke at length this weekend with Richard Holbrooke, Obama's special representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Over the past two days, Holbrooke visited all four regional military command centers in Afghanistan, and the message from all four followed similar lines:

While the additional American troops, along with smaller increases from other NATO alliance members, have had some benefit in the south, the numbers remain below what commanders say they need.

With the forces added by the Obama administration, the total number of American soldiers and Marines in Afghanistan is now about 57,000.

Actually, it's not small enough. It needs to be reduced to 0. We've no business being there or attacking anybody. If there are souls that want vengeance for 9/11/2001, then they should be directing their energy against Saudi Arabia. Everybody knows this now, there is no excuse of ignorance to be had.

I don't remember any "dancing Saudis" in New Jersey on 9/11.

But not all of the eye-witnesses to the 9-11 slaughter were so saddened. On September 11, five Israeli army veterans were arrested by the FBI after several witnesses saw them "dancing", "high-fiving", and "celebrating" as they took pictures of the World Trade Center disaster from across the river in New Jersey.

Subject: Official admits 15 September 11 hijackers were Saudi - Your News from Ananova

For the first time since the September 11 terrorist attacks, Saudi Arabia has publicly acknowledged that 15 of the 19 hijackers were its countrymen.

Since the attacks, Saudi Arabia has repeatedly said that the identity of the 15 hijackers whom US officials had said were Saudi remained in doubt.

Osama bin Laden was a Saudi until the country's government stripped him of his citizenship in 1994.

From WikiPedia: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hijackers_in_the_September_11_attacks)

American Airlines Flight 11 Hijackers: Mohamed Atta al Sayed (Egyptian), Waleed al-Shehri (Saudi Arabian), Wail al-Shehri (Saudi Arabian), Abdulaziz al-Omari (Saudi Arabian), Satam al-Suqami (Saudi Arabian).

AND:

United Airlines Flight 175 Hijackers: Marwan al-Shehhi (from the United Arab Emirates), Fayez Banihammad (from the United Arab Emirates), Mohand al-Shehri (Saudi Arabian), Hamza al-Ghamdi (Saudi Arabian), Ahmed al-Ghamdi (Saudi Arabian).

AND:

United Airlines Flight 93 Hijackers: Ziad Jarrah (Lebanese), Ahmed al-Haznawi (Saudi Arabian), Ahmed al-Nami (Saudi Arabian), Saeed al-Ghamdi (Saudi Arabian).

Now, which nationality stands out as being in the overwhelming majority here randge?

I also recall hearing this on the news as well, both television and radio, repeatedly and over the course of years. Then we have Osama Bin Laden, from Saudi Arabia pushing the movement and, as I've heard, quietly bankrolled by a lot of angry Wahhabis in Saudi Arabia.

So there you go randge.

Which is what the Army Chief of Staff said before we invaded Pipelinestan. So of course Bubbayah fired him for speaking the truth.

And interestingly NONE of those names were on the original flight manifests released by the airlines the day after 911. In fact there were NO Middle Eastern names on the flight manifests (other than Hebrew).

if i'm not mistaken, wikipedia is .gov controlled. i wouldn't put too much stock in that. here's an excerpt from Jim Willie's last month's newsletter regarding 911. some food for thought for you:

No need to expound too much on my views regarding the 911 False Flag attack on the Pentagon and World Trade Center. A quick summary will do. Fully 50% of Americans call it an inside job, but only 12% believe the WTC collapse was a demolition project, still relatively clueless. Basic understanding of high school chemistry and physics would lead to over 90% comprehension and suspicion (see gravity and melting point of structural steel). A missile hit the Pentagon precisely at the Army Accounting office location, which was soon to publish a report on $2.3 trillion in missing funds over two decades. The World Trade Center event on 911 was the biggest bank heist in US history, yet unrecognized officially in annals. The theft of $100 billion in gold bullion from basement vaults, along with $100 billion in USTreasury bearer bonds, and $100 billion in diamonds was truly significant. Information sources of mine are as numerous as they are independent, all consistent in the stories. The entire 911 events enabled the launch of an Iraq War to establish a military foundation in the Middle East, to motivate enormous defense contracts, to confiscate Iraqi oil to assure military oil supply, and to enable vast service contractor funds to flow for gigantic fraud and theft. Recall that $50 billion is still missing, not even being searched for, in the Iraqi Reconstruction Fund managed by the Bush II Admin. Mission Accomplished! Last was the biggest benefit of all: the capture of the Afghan narcotics prize by the CIA. That permitted the CIA to control over 80% of the global narcotics trade, whose clearinghouse is the Bank of Baghdad, managed by JPMorgan. The US Federal Reserve is well aware of the money laundering operations that reach Wall Street banks.

Victims Lists, Passenger Manifests, and the Alleged Hijackers

Flight Manifests and Passenger Lists

Excerpt:

As the number of strange anomalies and coincidences on the morning of 9/11 pile on top of each other, a reasonable investigator would at some point start to use the sheer force of so many convenient improbabilities against the official narrative. Add to that pile of suspicion the unusually low number of passengers aboard each of the hijacked flights that morning. Flight 11 and Flight 175, both Boeing 767s with approximately 180 available seats, had 76 and 46 passengers respectively. Flight 77 and Flight 93, both Boeing 757s with approximately 200 available seats, had 50 and 26 passengers respectively.

What this 30% passenger occupancy essentially means is that on each of the flights that were hijacked that morning, every passenger on every plane had an entire row to themselves to lie down. Any savvy, experienced traveler knows that when flying a major airliner, on a non-stop cross-country trip, at a commuter friendly morning flight time from one major U.S. city to another, it is incredibly good luck to get a row of surrounding open seats. On the morning of 9/11, every passenger on every plane had, essentially, an open row to themselves. And on Flight 93 that went down in Shanksville, PA, there were 10 more rows than passengers. ... Here you go SoL:

9-11 "Hijackers" Identified by FBI: Seven Are Alive and Well

The full list of the 9/11 hijackers names was released on 9/14/01. Below are the nineteen men identified on the FBI website as the hijackers.

Seven of the men have subsequently been confirmed as being alive. None of the names listed are shown on the passenger manifests of the hijacked flights.

3. Ahmed Alnami: Possible residence: Delray Beach, Fla. Aliases: Ali Ahmed Alnami; Ahmed A. Al-Nami; Ahmed Al-Nawi. ALIVE

An administrative supervisor with Saudi Arabian Airlines, in Riyadh.

"I'm still alive, as you can see. I was shocked to see my name mentioned by the American Justice Department. I had never even heard of Pennsylvania where the plane I was supposed to have hijacked." He had never lost his passport and found it "very worrying" that his identity appeared to have been "stolen" and published by the FBI without any checks. The FBI had said his "possible residence" was Delray Beach in Florida. " Telegraph UK, 23rd September

9-11_hijackers_still_alive.htm

Ask yourself why the vaunted pictures of the "19 hijackers" no longer appear on the mainstream news as they did in the months after the attacks.

The answer is that the FBI has acknowledged that the guys pictured aren't dead.

Also ask yourself why Bin Ladin is not wanted by the FBI in the attacks.

I suppose the US government wants us to believe that 300,000 pounds of aircraft parts collided with over 13 million tons of steel (a weight estimate of 7 world trade center floors) and 14,000 cubic feet of concrete (estimate) and that a paper passport navigated it's way through all of that including an explosion that was at least 100 yards in diameter (estimate) to land safely on top of the rubble below?

Get real.

And if that were even possible, you would think the chances of it happening were once in a lifetime, right? Well how about twice?

You may remember that after the planes hit the World Trade Center towers--an epic disaster that melted structural steel designed to withstand a Hellish temperature of 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, incinerated both planes? cockpit recorders and black-box recorders, and vaporized the flesh and bones of nearly 3,000 human beings--the passport of suspected hijacker Mohammed Atta was found intact, in pristine condition, lying on the sidewalk below.

Well, guess what. It happened again. I am not kidding. Both CBS News and the Associated Press are reporting that the passport of another hijacker, one Satam al-Sugami, floated down to Earth along with Mohammed Atta's passport. And not just a charred piece of a passport but , like the other passort, it was IN PRISTINE CONDITION.

Sorry man, I'm not truly interested in an agenda right now.

The nation is on the verge of literally burning to cinders. While the who and what of 9/11/2001 is not unimportant in the overall scheme of life, there are more pressing matters where I, and I suspect a lot of people, can expend our energy. You could blow open the whole 9/11 thing if you think it's a conspiracy of some sort, and right now, it would amount to a hill of beans, and the current administration would simply shrug and say "yeah, but that was Bush, he was bad, mmmkay".

Government conspiracies are at the heart of why we are where we are today.

We are here because certain forces have found that they can blow a president's head off with impugnity. They can create and end wars when they like and empty our pockets and fill their coffers when and if it suits them.

A lot of us say "BALLS!" to these people.

And again, it does have some importance without question, but there are bigger fish to fry right now. People are carrying loaded guns to town halls, because union thugs and La Raza have been beating people who dissent against Obama.

When the smoke clears, if it does, then we can get back to worrying about the administrivia. Just my take. Others are free to fret as they wish.

Sorry man, I'm not truly interested in an agenda right now.

The nation is on the verge of literally burning to cinders

And just why do you think the nation has been "conveniently" burned to cinders? So people will be too distressed financially to care about working to remove the evil that destroyed it and robbed them blind - the same people who pulled off 9-11. The worked to death and taxed to death - the incarcerated - the involuntarily unemployed - the homeless - have no energy and resources to fight a totalitarian monster who has built an unnavigable maze of legal paperwork protection around itself for anyone wishing to investigate it.
Keep the masses too busy to revolt.

This has been their MO for some time. I'm surprised you don't see it. It's all part of the plan.

That is because it upsets your worldview and prejudgements.

911 is the most important link in what has happened to our liberties and our government over the last years since 911.

Every major inroad, till Oh'bummer, has been justified by 911.

If 911 is shown to have been a false flag what does that do to the rationale for the Un-PATRIOT Act, Der Ministry of Vaterland Sekurity, and the whole "Waronterra"®?

They must have borrowed some integrity, because even they know he wasn't responsible.

I have a feeling that this argument will happen after the next false flag. Some will go on their merry way believing everything .gov says, no matter how outlandish and no matter how easy it is to prove the lies they tell.

I learned not to argue about these things. It's counterproductive, and i just don't care about changing anyones mind about anything. They have the same access to info that we have. So do it for yourself if you give a damn. If not, so what.
