Seeing that prick Orin Hatch writing a song about Teddy really pissed me off. Mostly because it was terrible, and completely gayed up like a 12 year old girl's notebook. Completely ignores the truth about Kennedy, and what a tool box he was. So, after having my morning coffee, I cranked up the Falco, and decided to write some lyrics. Sung to the tune of "Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco. Drive me to Chappaquiddick. He was the biggest douche-bag politician walking the Earth. He was a dunce-cap from the day of his birth. tommy, do you know if there was a report on how long Mary Jo was alive before she died? i read that her parents refused an autopsy.
If his brothers had not been gunned down or killed in war, no doubt Ted would not have reached the prominence he did, as he was a different person with not quite the same sort of intellect or political talent as them. No doubt he would of exited the realm of public life in the late seventies after this death had they been there to pick up the slack, and I admire him for dedicating himself to being a very decent and influential senator that heeded the call to public office up to the end of his life. I applaud his character, passion and sense of duty he brought to his job. It is also felt that his failings, be it this or any other problem, had the effect of grounding him to realities in a world of some very heady political egos. He actually did care about people at the grass roots level, and he was unsurpassed as a bi-partisan broker that got things done in the Senate. As far as anything else goes, he is dead and being mourned. So if you don't mind that this causes the cheap shot to hurt you and others with like minded comments instead of him and people like him, go for it. It is the giver of the cheap shot at the newly deceased that suffers the appearance of low or no character; not the target.

Christine my dear, of course you are most welcome to your opinion. I merely point out a foundational cause and effect of doing so with such bad timing. There are just so many up-tightie righties barking at the moon on everything from YouTube.com comment sections, news stories, forums, etc. etc., that the backlash to that only hurts them and their efforts; not Ted M.
