Ok.. here's the skinny.. as most of you know, my wife works at a cancer hospital, here on the east coast. Tonight when she got home, she informed me, that they (aka.. the hospital) was stating she had to (along with all other staff) get the H1N1 Flu Shot. To which my reply was HELL NO!

So she called the big cheeses there and was told, if she could provide PROOF to back our concern, that the meds were more of a threat, they may consider, allowing her to avoid the shot, but she would need to wear a face mask for the next six months, in replacement of the shot.

Can anyone post the info from a good soruce (aka.. one a hospital would accept), that show the dangers of this crap? I just don't have the time in the next two days, with taking care of both her mom and my dad (not even including the boys in all of that mess).. Many Thanks for any and all help on this issue!!!!

Otherwise, if for some reason she is forced to get the shot, to tell the hospital's administrator that she will hold him personally accountable for any negative side effects with full intentions of enforcing that if that's the way it's going to be.

A hospital isn't going to let some silly nurse infect sick patients with a potentially deadly virus because she believes conspiracy theories she read on a message board.

People in the hospital can easily die of the flu.

some silly nurse

Listen.. you and I have had our debates in the past.. but my wife, in your eyes, is off limits.. She has trained at John Hopkins and the Mayo Clinic, along with many other Cancer Centers.. and wishes to protect herself from what may be, a very dangerous drug, just like she does, with all Cancer Treatments, she handles..

Again, my wife is off limits to you.. end of story..

(Christine.. I pinged you to my post, as I want to make sure, that you see what I am writing here.. I know you understand why..)

By believing conspiracy theories about vaccines, especially when she is medically educated, she is behaving silly.

I shouldn't have called her silly, but I should have said she is acting silly in this instance. One instance of silly, doesn't make a person silly, especially since we all do stupid things. So I should not have used that phrase.

How would your wife like to kill a cancer patient with a weakened immune system because she read a bunch of wacko right wing paranoia about vaccines? I bet it would cause her immense anguish if that happened.

Have her talk to Doctors who know what they are talking about before believing a word prison planet, natural news (a Luddite site), and a bunch of other conspiracy sites.

I'm sorry for insulting your wife.

Vioxx, and numerous other things show that trusting the FDA is silly!
