(09-04) 07:15 PDT Everett, Wash. (AP) --

Two radio station towers toppled after someone used a piece of heavy equipment to knock them down.

General Manager Andy Skotdal says a sign left at the scene Friday says ELF, likely a reference to the Earth Liberation Front. But Skotdal says it's too early to know if the radical environmental group is responsible.

The family-owned station has been fighting opponents of an addition to its existing towers east of Everett.

The station has transferred its radio transmission and remains on the air.

Libertarians should relabel themselves as Hobbitarians. That would get us a full frontal win next election!
