Controversial Fox News television host Glenn Beck along with a host of other establishment talking heads are again attempting to create the perception that questioning the official story behind 9/11 is a fringe belief, when in fact numerous polls show that the majority of Americans have questions about the attacks as the tragedy approaches its eighth anniversary. Citing the fact that Obama’s green jobs czar Van Jones, who is increasingly and justifiably coming under fire from conservatives in light of his Communist rhetoric and his socialist ideals, signed a petition in 2004 calling for a proper investigation into whether the U.S. government allowed 9/11 to happen, Beck and others have used the “9/11 truther” label as a smear with which to further attack Van Jones’ credibility. During his show yesterday, Beck tied Van Jones’ advocacy for 9/11 truth to his “radical, progressive and Communist nonsense” and implied that questions about 9/11 truth were held only by a small minority of mainly leftist Hollywood personalities. However, despite efforts to portray people with questions about 9/11 as some kind of lunatic fringe minority, numerous polls in the years since the attacks manifestly prove that a majority of Americans share doubts and questions about the 9/11 attacks. Those people include former presidents and respected intelligence veterans, not merely leftist progressives as Beck insinuates. The Parliament of Japan, the former President of Italy, and widely-respected CIA veteran Robert Baer have all questioned the official story behind 9/11. Since the attacks, a top former member of Tony Blair’s cabinet, Germany’s Secretary of Defense and the founder of Reagonomics have all slammed the official story – along with a cacophony of former government, military, intelligence and political professionals. In addition, the majority of victim’s family members doubt the official story and have been pushing for a new investigation for years – as attested to by Bill Doyle, head of the largest victim’s family support group. An October 2006 New York Times/CBS poll found that a paltry 16% of Americans thought the government was telling the truth about 9/11 and the intelligence prior to the attacks, meaning 84% doubted the accuracy of the official story. A May 2006 Zogby poll found that over 70 million Americans supported a new investigation into 9/11 and less than half of the American public trusted the official 9/11 story or believed the attacks were adequately investigated. The figure supporting a new investigation rose to 51% of Americans in a September 2007 poll. In addition, the same poll found that 67% also faulted the 9/11 Commission for not investigating anomalous collapse of World Trade Center 7. As far back as August 2004, another Zogby poll established the fact that half of New Yorkers believe there was government complicity in 9/11. Van Jones has since recanted and stated that he does not agree with the petition to which he signed his name in an attempt to diffuse the controversy. However, millions of Americans across the country, a majority of people, still have unanswered questions about 9/11 that won’t be buried by the establishment’s attempt to link 9/11 truth with the increasingly discredited figure of Van Jones.

Beck is all over the place. I watch because he touches on topics the others don't. But, I don't always agree with him. A couple weeks back he stated the second did not apply to the states. I don't know how he reached that conclusion but I certainly disagree with that notion. If I'm not mistaken the terminology of the petition jones signed was that it specifically mentioned the involvement of Bush. If I'm correct that may be his problem. As for myself I beleive something is just not right about the official story. Let me ask this. If congress is willing to sign bills that they have not read to be law of our great country. Would it not be logical to beleive it's because they are told what to do by others? Just who is running this country anyway? I think I've got a clue!

The mountains of contradictory evidence which is ignored, or pooh poohed, by the 911 Commission (which Bush fought for over a year and then stocked with toadies with a pre-ordainded conclusion), the toadies in Schlock Radio, the Babbling Heads on the Telly, and the multiply revised NIST Report, ALL scream that with each denial and avoidance of the evidence.

Yes, death and taxes. We live in an era of rule by deceit. Certainly 911, and the amazing nonexistent Birth Certificate are not what they seem. I used to think that the denial of the moon landings was absolutely kooky. However, the evidence has shaken my belief. There was something funny going on with the moon landings - that we now know. What exactly it was I do not have the data to say.

Obama 'green jobs' adviser quits amid controversy Obama 'green jobs' adviser quits amid controversy Sep 6, 2:06 AM (ET) By WILL LESTER WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama's adviser Van Jones has resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday. Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs" with the White House Council on Environmental Quality was linked to efforts suggesting a government role in the 2001 terror attacks and to derogatory comments about Republicans. The resignation comes as Obama is working to regain his footing in the contentious health care debate. Jones issued an apology on Thursday for his past statements. When asked the next day whether Obama still had confidence in him, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said only that Jones "continues to work in the administration." The matter surfaced after news reports of a derogatory comment Jones made in the past about Republicans, and separately, of Jones' name appearing on a petition connected to the events surrounding the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. That 2004 petition had asked for congressional hearings and other investigations into whether high-level government officials had allowed the attacks to occur. "On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones said in his resignation statement. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide." Jones said he has been "inundated with calls from across the political spectrum urging me to stay and fight." But he said he cannot in good conscience ask his colleagues to spend time and energy defending or explaining his past. Jones flatly said in an earlier statement that he did not agree with the petition's stand on the 9/11 attacks and that "it certainly does not reflect my views, now or ever." As for his other comments he made before joining Obama's team, Jones said, "If I have offended anyone with statements I made in the past, I apologize." Despite his apologies, Republicans demanded Jones quit. Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana said in a statement, "His extremist views and coarse rhetoric have no place in this administration or the public debate." Missouri Sen. Christopher Bonds said Congress should investigate Jones's fitness the job. Fox News Channel host Glenn Beck repeatedly denounced Jones after a group the adviser co-founded, ColorofChange.org, led an advertising boycott against Beck's show to protest his claim that Obama is a racist. James Rucker, the organization's executive director, has said Jones had nothing to do with ColorofChange.org now and didn't even know about the campaign before it started. Jones, well-known in the environmental movement, was a civil-rights activist in California before shifting his attention to environmental and energy issues. He is known for laying out a broad vision of a green economy. Nancy Sutley chair of the council, said in a statement released early Sunday that she accepts Jones resignation and thanked him for his service. "Over the last six months, he had been a strong voice for creating jobs that improve energy efficiency and utilize renewable resources," she said.
