Pat Robertson Says U.S. Should Kill Venezuela's Chavez Aug. 23 (Bloomberg) Television evangelist Pat Robertson told viewers the U.S. should kill Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to prevent the Latin American country from becoming a ``launching pad'' for extremism. Chavez, 51, has repeatedly accused President George W. Bush of backing efforts to topple his government, a charge the U.S. denies. The U.S. has alleged Venezuela is using its oil to undermine democracy in Latin America. Venezuela, the U.S.'s fourth-largest oil supplier, has threatened to cut off supplies. ``We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability,'' Robertson said yesterday on the television program ``The 700 Club,'' AP reported. The cleric founded the Christian Broadcasting Network, based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Killing Chavez, who is visiting Cuba, would be cheaper than starting a war, AP cited Robertson as saying. The U.S. can't allow Venezuela to become a ``launching pad for communist infiltration and Muslim extremism,'' he said, according to AP. (AP, 8-23) All life that God has created is sacred ...except the life of Chavez.

hey, Stepp, this was already posted here. i just did the same thing. i posted kaminski's latest when zoroaster already had.
If you fall on the side that is pro-George and pro-war, you get your ass over to Iraq, and take the place of somebody who wants to come home.

We're going to play a little game called "Guess Whose Post." Wasn't to long ago we considered bin Laden an "annoyance". And Castro, and Saddam, etc etc etc. I'm in no "hurry" to deal with Chavez, but its becoming obvious he's pushing for a confrontation. Shouldn't be too hard.

I've heard it said that anything worth saying is worth saying TWICE... In this thread, a poster commented that saying it twice increases the volume of people who read about it. In this case, that is entirely true. I read Stepp's post simply because Stepp had posted it (smile) I totally missed the article posted earlier because I was busy elsewhere... soooooooooooooo Stepp, it was worth the effort made even if ALL here didn't totally appreciate your trouble... A while back there was controversy about Robertson's domination theology, which proclaimed WASPs would run the show, mainly through business acumen, then turn it over to Jews so Christ could rule the world.
