Democrat Rob Miller's campaign war chest just got a whole lot heavier. Miller is the Marine Corps veteran challenging Rep. Joe Wilson, the South Carolina Republican who took the opportunity afforded by a joint session of Congress on Wednesday to yell "Lie. You lie," at President Barack Obama. Progressive Democrats took that as a cue to donate to his opponent, and accounts earmarked for Miller on the progressive Website Actblue jumped from a few thousand dollars to $105,943 between the speech and 9:15 a.m. on Thursday. At least nine different Miller-linked funds appear to have been created since the speech, including one called "Defeating the man who yelled 'liar' at Obama: Goodbye Rep Joe Wilson' that had collected more than $500,000 overnight. Wilson beat an underfunded Miller with 53.7 percent of the vote in 2008.

Did Wilson apologize that he "had" a spine?
Since Wilson's site had so much traffic that it crashed, makes me wonder how much of that was of support, both morally and financially. Just wondering.
Wilson said someone from the party told him to apologize, he dropped his drawers immediately and bent over. Shameful.
Obama didn't lie about this. HR 3200 says in Sec 246, that the Fed Gov won't pay for anyone not legally in the United States. Though the claim they can have a public option and be budget neutral just does not pass the smell test.
They also struck-out the proof of eligibility for services section, which effectively makes everyone here eligible.

However, at the beginning of that Congress, the House removed the prohibition on making references to the Senate, leaving only the requirement that debate be confined to the question under debate and avoid “personality.” The precedents of the House allow a wide latitude in criticism of the President, other executive officials, and the government itself. However, it is not permissible to use language that is personally offensive to the President, such as referring to him as a “hypocrite” or a “liar.” Similarly, it is not in order to refer to the President as “intellectually dishonest” or an action taken by the President as “cowardly.” References to the Vice President, in spite of his role as President of the Senate, are measured against the standard used for the President rather than prior standards used to govern the Senate.
Shameful. Maybe we can urge Ron Paul to author a bill which would allow Reps to call LIARS, LIARS.
They protect their own. Calling someone a liar or hypocrite is not getting into "personalities", it is a statement of fact. But CONgress doesn't deal in facts, just political expediency. .

Deal's Enforcement of Section 246 Amendment was voted down, just how are you going to stop Illegals, from getting Health Care? Tie that in with the fact that Hospitals and Doctors, are forbidden to check for citizenship under this Bill, and again you are left with the fact, that Illegals will get free Health Care and it will be paid by Legal Citizens like You and I.

In other words, there would be no way to verify the citizenship of those seeking care under Obama’s government plan. CNN reported last month the Congressional Research Service, the nonpartisan policy research arm of Congress, found that without a citizenship verification system illegal aliens would receive subsidies. Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies, told CNN the report “undermines the claims of the president and others that illegal immigrants would not be covered under the House version of the bill.”

Everyone ought to be throwing money at Wilson right now, but it's not going to happen of course. He's backed down from democrats, and of course BO. For a moment there was a glimmer of a backbone in one of our appointed stooges, but that all went out the window.

Indeed. And 80 million AMERICANS DID NOT VOTE LAST TIME AROUND. That is why there has to be a choice, a third party at least. We of the 80 million HAVE NO VOICE. No one that articulates our concerns nor our views. We need a fire eating orator with backbone. Currently it appears that Paul, Wilson, Palin etc etc are not up to the basic standard.
Actually those registered "declined to state" in California can get a ballot for either the American Independent party or the Democrat party upon request.

If there is no enforcement behind Section 246 of this Bill, you can not stop Non-Citizens, who are here by Illegal means, from getting Non-Emergency Care, paid for by this Bill.

Illegals, people too stupid to fill out forms for Medicare and Medicaid, and if we hold to standard Democratic practice, the remainder would consist of dead people and people being counted seven to fifteen times each.
