I have pointed out several times to people that if Richard Nixon had been in that limousine, there would be no conspiracy theory, because people would have considered it one bad man killing another bad man (even though Nixon wasn't a bad man -- he was a far better man than Kennedy). But since Oswald was a nobody and a complete loser, and Kennedy was a handsome, rich, popular, charismatic man, people cannot handle the fact that a zero killed a "hero," so they have to come up with impossibly complex conspiracy theories, and cannot change their minds no matter how much proof they are shown.
Kennedy had many, many detractors then.
AND IIRC Nixon was elected ....twice. I wonder how such an unpopular, "bad man" president pulled that one off? My grampa should have dropped him on his head when he had the chance. We wouldn't have China problems ....oh and wage and price controls. That was another good Nixon accomplishment, but at least that one was terminated.
