I have noticed for the last year of so that Freedom4um has reached its peak and is now on the decline. The reason? The smart, open-minded ones have left, and it has now become a crackpot site full of 9-11 "Truthers" (sic) and Kennedy conspiracist nutcases holding a trial for almost 50 years. Mock other crackpot sites all you want. Look in the mirror, because you are no better.

If you don't find that your opinions echoed to a large degree or that they are met with general acceptance, that's your own look out, ain't it? You know quite well the sort of posters this place attracts.

This is one of the most tolerant forums inhabiting this particular corner of the ideological world, and I think you've been well treated here. I came back, and was welcomed back by Christine.

How bad could this site be? As far as to what you're talking about, I'd rather be on a site where there's plenty of different things to read, and discuss, than the mainstream nonsense with the same old lame points of view.

Here, my lunacy doesn't look out of place. On other sites, it does. What does that say about the other sites? Too many people with the same thoughts and ideas, and that doesn't help anyone.

Especially when everyone is content to do nothing.

Better to be hated for what you are, than loved for what you are not.

Well now young man, that is a rather outrageous statement for anyone to make, particularly in someone elses's house.

Lets assume for the act of discussion you are correct.

That indicates two things.

Those that are left are not too well educated, whether formally or otherwise, and that we are remiss in...ADDING...SOMETHING...positive to the forum. I have always given you credit for adding humor and when you wish to do so, you can at times do some very good writing.

Putting the knock on others is always very easy to do, throw stones and then run. You would do well to amend your original post and not further lower your stature.

That said, I can report accurately that 4um's numbers have increased over the last few months by app. 30%. That would include the number of unique posters & posts themselves. Turtle, Sorry but I don't agree with you. I've been around here since day one, and although I seldom post here anymore I stop by daily to see what's going on. The real bright point of 4um is it allows EVERYONE to post without exception. I can't say I've ever seen a post deleted by the mod. All viewpoints are welcomed, whether from outerspace or the PTB, none are excepted. If one is to really be well informed that person should review and make their own decision based on their own experience and perspective. 4UM gives a well informed person that opportunity.
