Of course, the answer to this is that the fireman are wearing clothing -- and especially boots -- that can handle 2000 degree molten metal.

On the other hand, notice the guy in the middle. His right foot is in the "molten metal"!

Note the large expanding mushroom cloud that pushes upwards and outwards, even blooming to the right. To the right in this video is west, and that would be against the wind. There is but one explanation for a cloud that behaves this way, and that is an extraordinary heat energy input.

Well, they say it would have taken too long and would have required tons of explosives, and cutting thousands of columns in key locations to take it down with (un)controlled demolition.

But they also say that cutting a few random columns and starting a fire can do the trick just nicely. So I don't know what to think. It's either very difficult or simple as pie.
