In terms of Bush’s place in history, I think he’ll be remembered along the greatest leaders such as Washington, Jefferson, Reagan, & a fellow Republican by the name of Abraham Lincoln. Now, it’s impossible for me to list ALL Bush accomplishments with such a short amount of space, but I’ll list a few.

1) Bush has reestablished Christian Values in the White House, & America at large (Lord knows we needed it after the Clinton administration).

2) Bush has made us safe from terrorists through his audacious military efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

3) Bush has continuously fought for Middle Class Americans by cutting taxes. A move that also saved the Economy!

4) Bush has raised educational standards for our kids by starting the “no child left behind” program.

I can go on and on with Bush’s accomplishments. But there are too many of them to mention because he’s one of the greatest leaders America has ever had. My opinion anyway.

What is your opinion? Do you agree?

Only the blind, deaf and mostly retarded historians.

Actual historians will most likely view him, as most Presidents, as a mixed bag. Historians, at least credible ones, try to maintain an objective stance as much as possible and disregard political sentiments of rabid supporters or detractors.

Bush should have been hung for his crimes long ago, after a fair and impartial trial of course.

Yes, Bush, and his dad, will be remembered as the greatest Down Syndrome success stories in American history.

Why do you all waste your time replying to this antagonistic neo-con cocksucker. This twit has to be a paid shill for the neo-convicts and their hebrew masters. There are far more important topics that need addresses and engaging this faggot who is paid to disrupt this forum with bullshit such as this is insane.

The entire bush clan are criminals. That is all that needs to be said about them. I'm not sure if they are actually human beings.

I don't find anything funny about bush or what he did to the country. Everytime he spoke out he was an embarassment to our country.

Do you see anything bush did to our country that is funny? We got comic relief alright!

She's not saying Bush was funny. She's saying that lampooning Bush is funny. Which it is.

The most cutting form of criticism is making fun of people like Bush. Laughter at those types cuts deeper than any knife to their impotent little egos.

That should be left up to the comedians. We have serious problems in this country, many of which, are the results of what bush did or did not do. You wanna waste precious time engaging an idiot who supports an idiot, go for it.

Look. Back off. Don't presume to tell me, or anybody else, how and where to post. Second, "taking down names" can be taken as a form of a threat. What are you going to do with my name after you "take it down"? Print it, burn it and do a voodoo dance around it?

If you want to dictate to people how to act, then you've completely undercut any arguments you may have against Bush.

Chill out. Life isn't 100% serious 100% of the time. If you don't see the value in lampooning, that's your problem, not mine, not anybody else, yours. If it bothers you, don't read the thread.

4) Bush has raised educational standards

I suggest you take a look at today's graduates.

America is falling way behind on educational standards.

1) Bush has reestablished Christian Values in the White House, & America at large (Lord knows we needed it after the Clinton administration).

He had some minor bits like PBA which stopped no actual late-term abortions (they used other more cruel methods instead) and the flap over Terri Schiavo which damaged the GOP (and then they did nothing to pass laws to stop that happening again). So I think some people feel he did more than zero but the actual actions you might call Christian seem to be more symbolic than substantive.

2) Bush has made us safe from terrorists through his audacious military efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Well, Saddam didn't allow terrorists because they were dangerous to him. So the terrorists in Iraq came in from outside to kill Americans or they were recruited by militias or they wanted to expel the occupying army.

3) Bush has continuously fought for Middle Class Americans by cutting taxes. A move that also saved the Economy!

No, he cut taxes for the rich. The middle class pays very little in federal taxes, the poor pay nothing. So the only people to cut taxes on further were the rich. He also vastly expanded spending while refusing to raise taxes, exploding the federal debt.

4) Bush has raised educational standards for our kids by starting the “no child left behind” program.

Educational stats remain completely flat. What Bush did was open the door to even more federal intrusion for the sake of a rehashed program that didn't work in Texas either. We were correct in the late Nineties when we supported Ron Paul and Henry Hyde in defeating the Xlintonian version of this same exact program foisted on us by the usual educrats and socialist engineering types.

I think he’ll be remembered along the greatest leaders such as.....a fellow Republican by the name of Abraham Lincoln

From The Real Lincoln, by Charles L.C. Minor:

If any are scandalized or startled at seeing Lincoln called usurper or despot, they are invited to observe that he was denounced as both by many great Republican leaders of his own day. The words in which Fremont, Wendell Phillips, Fred Douglass, and Horace Greeley, all stanchest of Republicans and Abolitionists, issued their call for the convention of Republicans that met at Cleveland, Ohio, May 31, 1864, for the sole purpose of defeating Mr. Lincoln's second election, were as follows: "The public liberty was in danger"; that its object was to arouse the people "and bring them to realize that while we are saturating Southern soil with the best blood of the country in the name of liberty, we have really parted with it at home."

Has not Bush saturated the Middle East "with the best blood of the country in the name of liberty"?? Idiot.....

So far in this century Bush and Blair have no equal as to being the most despicable statesmen, having destroyed the social structure of two countries for no other reason than political expediency -- helping a foreign power whose agents helped get them elected. The two disgraced their own people by launching wars to protect a bunch of terrorists who continue to steal Palestinian land to expand the illegal Israeli state. With a world conscience developing through the Internet it's not likely that anyone else will pull a stunt like that of Bush and Blair so this duo will eventually surpass Hitler in terms of blots on our civilization because the Nazi leader at least acted on behalf of his own people to get back territory taken in a previous war whereas the British and American bozos acted solely for the benefit of a foreign power headed by criminals even more notorious than the two of them and at a time when much of the world, particularly Europe, Russia, Iran and Asia, were working for co-operation and fairness in international relations.
