Actually randge's comment is spot on. Bush gutted what was left of the Constitution before our eyes, and Obama is now doing a ritual dance in its blood before declaring a "New Way" that doesn't involve pesky restraints on government. The last President and the current one are arguably the most destructive two men to hold the office in history. There's no shame in disliking them both.

Actually, I grew up feeling very proud to be a member of this big club. I admired the Founders and what they stood for, and our teachers taught us to revere our form of government and the Constitution. I supported our erstwhile crusade against communism. It was only much later that I learned the cynicism and greed that governed the prosecution of that fight in Vietnam and many other places. Learning about history as an adult has been one rude shock after another. Though I still "stand beside her," and hope that we will find someone to "guide her."
Here's some "guiding" during one heluva Tea Party gotten outta hand ;-) There was much they did NOT teach you and everyone else. My education came by my own work and interest, with the help of much older people that were self thinking persons.
Fifty nine years ago today I won an all expense paid tour of the Far East and in particular, Korea. My self education began that day. There was much I was never taught, much they had lied about.

Moreover, anyone who believes Bush and his Overlords weren't purposely blasting a hole dead-center of the Constitution and setting the table for 0bama's regime is either naive or stupid. Yes...But Teddy would have kicked ALL the lazy bastid azzes off their couches and into work-fare programs - of which considering FDR and his level of socialism - wouldn't be a bad idea today. Moreover, though Wilson and Teddy favored a strong Fed, taxation, and collectivism, they aren't even on the same planet as the socialists of the 1960s-2000s. With all due respect to Beck, Teddy at least cleaned up corruption in NYC; Wilson was the ultimate Elite.

I don't disagree with your assessment... As to why Dubya and his puppetmeisters wouldn't expose 0bama, the Kenyan wasn't yet President so he and they could have....BUT, The Fix was in. These people are all filthy, but why Bush gets an iota of credit from conservatives for possessing even an ounce of integrity and honor is a Big Mystery to me.
That kind of hyperbole is exactly how the liberal media referred to "work-fare" the last time it was proposed during Bubba's regime. I suppose it's MUCH better to pay lazy, healthy parasitic slobs to sit on their fat azzzes while others break their azzes and pick up the tab.
