LP is Dying I agree.

Extremism is taking over on all accounts and politically wise good people have no side to hang on too anymore.

3. To: reaganisright (#0) I think that there is a quiet coming over the thought processes of thinking people. They are tired of complaining, tired of the same o same o, and are starting to weigh the costs of action NOT related to elections. IOW, why keep doing the same thing over and over again (electing Republicans or Democrats and expecting honest govt) it is time for real CHANGE, for good or ill.

Before you can get a solution to any problem, you first have to identify and understand the problem. The identification and understanding should always come before the solution is proposed. I suspect we're at the point where we've accurately identified the problem and clearly understand it. Now is the point when we have to come to some kind of solution.

I don't begrudge people just opening their eyes right now. It takes time to see for may people.

MapQuest really needs to start their directions on #5. Pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

Isn't it odd that the people who find the birth cert issue most disturbing never stop talking about it?

Yep. THEY are the one who are all OCD about it.

They are the same folks who have never attended a townhall but are are irritated when citizens take empty suit politicians to task over high taxes and Obama's BS medical program. Likewise they remain mum when Nancy Pelosi calls them Nazis. Not surprisingly, they fit in best with Progressives and leftists.

Nice bat to the kneecap...

These same pods - feigning some sort of integrity and impartiality - are cowards and hypocrites. And yeah - for some reason they are afraid to admit that all they are nothing but useful idiots and gerbils of and for the Left.

We are in agreement, except that the GOP won't get a face lift.

Political tools, like gerrymandering, campaining laws, etc., will keep the domestic enemies in power.

I see no political solutions.

You may be right...But we can't give up. There's still a LOTTA sh*t to hit the fan, while the sheeple are finally beginning to exit their crypts.

I'm just wondering when the first Americans are going to be killed as a result of all of this, on American soil.

Hey - I agree with you - we have actually "Americans" in power who are actively planning our demise. But there MUST also be those on the inside fighting that plan.

Seriously, how many times can Schlocky-Lox screaming "AGENT PROVOCATEUR!!" at anyone with differing opinions be considered funny before it's just pathetic?

ONLY when you're posting at LP and crapping all over the place.

It's distilled insanity now. There used to be some good in it, but it's k00k soup now, top-heavy with birthers, Christers, and assorted other nuts.

Yes, LP would be MUCH better immersed in a stew of insane pro-0bama supporters and various degrees of HuffPo sycophants, absurdity and militant atheism as nauseam.

And you wonder why your act isn't appreciated over there? Can you possibly be any more dopey?

Snuffy, Celeste, Danko, Itzl, e_type_jig, et al...they're all more suited for www.peopleofwalmart.com, and the comments are funnier. One of 'em (Celeste) is running around yelling for people to 'succeed' from the union, while Danko is rolling rocks and lamenting how he wishes he had the ability to do stuff because he has the knowledge, poor ol' Izzy just itching to throw the yoke of SERFdumb by the ruling EEE-lites, if he just had the sack to do so. Top it off with SnuffyJoe yelling Commie IMO and poor old Murron writing her screeds on the insides of Lucky Strike wrappers, then typing them in from the Wi-Fi at the East Cousinfuck General Store like dispatches from the war-torn front (SPIT!!), and that's pretty much the whole shebang.

LOL - need a hanky for your boo-boo? Those baaaaaaaad people - if they only knew how much they hurt widdle US_GRANT...er...I mean Sammy Gray the Leftist Fellacial Artist.

Perhaps I should have just summed up a typical conversation from a new poster and the denizens:"Hi, I'm new here, but I disagree with you about Sarah Palin and Obama."

About WHO?? "0bama"??

That's funny. No, really.

He's [0bama] politically washed up already, but "politics" ain't gonna be what it was. Where have you been?

We are STILL fighting the implementation of0bama's Agenda - despite the PR beating he's taking. You forget that the Left OWNS the media and is scrubbing as fast as they can. It's not exactly a foregone conclusion that his screwing the country will end any time soon...

The neocon media is a day late and a dollar short and offers absolutely no solutions. It's nice to know that a majority now share our concerns, but sharing a box car with them en route to our destiny as we're all bitching in unison ain't my idea of a solution. Is it yours?

ONE "solution" is exposing both 0bama and the Left's agenda and Army of Commies...And better late than never for the neocon/center-right to wake up.

You want this all to go away overnight? I do too, but it's gonna take some time.

Btw, what's YOUR "solution"??

I opted out on that last round of banning. The flame wars, exchange of insults and hypocricy gets old. I lurk on occassion, but don't post. I've noted that there aren't as many articles posted, with an echo chamber of GOP tards for commentary.

Goldi-Pox has done it all by her liddle self. First with the pro-Israel bias, inviting people like Buttsmeller (aka ByteShredder) to post, exercising a double standard by permitting trolling and attacks by protected pro-Israel posters, bannings of people over pointing out her hypocrisy on the Ron Paul censorship she imposed, and then the latest wave of bannings. Goldi-Pox has created an environment where people do not have an expectation of being able to express their opinions freely without fear of retribution for disagreeing with the "Party Lyin'" - which is mostly the Israeli Party Lyin'. Eff her, the Broom she rode in on, and the Bat that followed her.

Disaster, abject disaster, lies at the end of this tunnel, yet people in general are clueless and the government is behaving as if there is no problem as the Sheople merely bleat repetitively.

True that. The problem really is two-fold. One of the biggest is the addiction to Television. I walk down the street at night and it is a very rare house that does not have Idiot Machine on - belching its usual mix of propaganda, disinformation, and Psychiatric Programming in the form of "Reality" shows, Amurkin' Idull, and interspersed with slick commercials focus grouped and tested to push all the right buttons to convince the sheeple that they are not a real man if they don't drink spud and watch the Sunday Gladiatorial Games.

The other major problem is the dumbing down of the educational systum. This has produced a generation now rising to adulthood who are semi-literate, poorly educated, and without hope to do better.

Without a major infusion of energy and time by caring people this culture is doomed. It is not all gloom and doom and there are groups and organizations "doing something about it" but you'll never hear about it on the PsyOps Machine blaring its constant message of Obey and Consume.

Bingo!

That is exactly the point behind all of the attacks on Sarah. While I have my points of disagreement she does seem to be a genuine article. That is what scares the PTB - the fear that a popular movement could coalesce around her - that is resistant to their PsyOps campaigns and intent on reclaiming the country from the crooks and scum now running it into the ground.

It became apparent that she was wising up to the scam back during the Faux Presidential Campaign when the "annointed one" of the Banksters - Oh'bummer - was being set up to "win" the (s)election. Recall that insiders in the McLame Camp started (off the record of course) calling her a "Loose Cannon". That was a clear signal that she was waking up to the real scam and wanted nothing to do with it. Recall also that she started making comments and speeches that were not approved by MuNutz's controllers inside the phony campaign. He was still able to successfully take a dive for the cabal but it was less convincing because of Sarah. That disrupted their PsyOp and she has been a pain their collective asses ever since. GO SARAH!

Yep to what you posted. I can't believe it normal for anyone to have listened to hundreds of thousands of commercials in their lifetime without suffering some type of cognitive dissonance.

And each of those commercials is carefully crafted (at least on the national level) to work below the level of normal awareness to implant the "message" and push the right "buttons" to evoke the desired response. It is very sophisticated mental programming and consuming hour upon hour of it does take a toll. I finally bypassed it all in complete disgust and stopped watching Tee Bee going on 6 years ago. For a time I watched "some" - a couple hours a month, but since I do not have cable, by intention, and did not buy a digital converter box I now watch only the occasional movie and a few choice programs I recorded off of PBS - including Julia Child. Lovvvvvve Julia - may she rest in peace. ;-) However even PBS is gone now as a venue of anything much worthwhile. If you look at the level of intellectual engagement in their "programming" today versus twenty to twenty-five years ago it is very noticeably dumbed down and more and more party line. I just love "Front Line" and its Faux Journalistic slant - larded with propaganda and disinformation - which is what PBS has become.

I haven't really paid all that much attention to Sarah. My reaction to her, and opinions, are based more on what the media has done to attack her and distort what she has said. That is my barometer - that the media is trying to marginalize and discredit her are flags that suggest that, regardless of whether I agree with her on anything, that she is likely genuine.

Julia was a pretty neat gal that's for sure.

I was pretty lucky in that a coworker was one of the researchers who worked on this type of research FOR THE US GOV (the results of which they later sold to advertising companies) and used to alert us on what was going on and how to avoid the consequences. He said first believe no commercials or mock them in your mind when you are forced to hear one that you can't shut out. Of course avoiding them in the first place is best.

You are such a GOP troll.

And you wonder why I barely take you seriously? Naw, never mind. Carry on...

She's [Palin] a pol and as such is entitled to be discussed.

Yeah, so? (yawn....)

Quit running down the voters. She has to please us..... remember? She also had to consent to run with McCain unless you are implying that the GOP kidnaps their candidates.lololol

Well, thanks for reminding me that I'm dealing with a funny-farm patient with your ever ubiquitous "lolololol" sign-off...

But to address your whine and cheese: WHICH "voters" to you refer are being "run down"? And WHOM must Palin "please" again?? Dems? RINOs?

The globalist Elite-controlled RNC asks some obscure, un-savvy, naive female Alaskan newbie Governor to be McStain VP. OUT OF THIN AIR. Yeah, that made sense. But why wouldn't she consent? It's an honor.

HERE'S A HINT: They chose her to make her and her brand of Christianity and patriotism and conservatism and "those people" look foolish to America and to the GOP. McStain and his puppeteers WANTED TO LOSE TO 0BAMA. Duh...

But their ploy didn't work - instead of McStain's support plummeting, it GALVANIZED conservatives of ALL stripes and religions. He almost (accidentally) won.

Now you are entitled to believe all the bullsh*t and fairy tales you want, but you will either accept this woman as a conservative force to be reckoned with, or you can continue voting for 0bama and other Leftists.

Now even you are admitting Palin is a slow learner. Personally I would like to know where she stands on the issues, seems none of her beloved admirers can ever put most of them to paper. The ones she has admitted to puts her firmly in the Neocon camp. No thanks, and until she spills the beans I believe this "work-in- progress" is really a progressive like her master.

Most American are "slow learners." Who knew the GOP was infested with NWO puppets until Dubya's fake Iraq War and his refusal to clamp down of the illegal invasion? OR his release of $800 in TARP funding to his banking buds?

Palin is a contrarian "politician." Why anyone believe she is anything but is beyond me. Lol, you believe she's a neocon? Why then would the RINOs of GOP and media attack her? If that were the case they should be kissing her @ss instead of hanging her out to dry.

True - many of her actual specific and ideological views (not the campaign script) is yet to be articulated. And probably for good reason. But there is no question as to her bonafides and sincerity as an independent American patriot and conservative.

"If, from the more wretched parts of the old world, we look at those which are in an advanced stage of improvement, we still find the greedy hand of government thrusting itself into every corner and crevice of industry, and grasping the spoil of the multitude. Invention is continually exercised, to furnish new pretenses for revenues and taxation. It watches prosperity as its prey and permits none to escape without tribute." --Thomas Paine, Rights of Man, 1791

Generally speaking, far too much of the so-called conservative media cannot seem to get out of the health care shell or the racism shell when so much more is going on

Gosh one might get the impression that it was "planned" or "orchestrated".

I have REASONS why I dislike her.

"Megan Fox plastic surgery - Does it make her less attractive? "

"Everyone who smokes marijuana should be shot "

I put on the rubber gloves and hip boots to pop in and take a look see at the the old joint.

The two above thread titles were at the top, which says bucket loads about what is ailing that venue right now. Yeesh.
