SARAH Palin is said to have pocketed a $7 million advance for the 400-page memoir she turned in four months early, but she might not have such an easy time on the lecture circuit. After quitting as governor of Alaska in July, Palin signed with the top-notch Washington Speakers Bureau, which also reps George W. Bush, Laura Bush, Condoleezza Rice, hero pilot Chesley Sullenberger, LA Dodgers manager Joe Torre and magician David Blaine. Palin's bookers are said to be asking for $100,000 per speech, but an industry expert tells Page Six: "The big lecture buyers in the US are paralyzed with fear about booking her, basically because they think she is a blithering idiot." Many big lecture venues are subscription series, "and they don't want to tick people off," said our source. "Palin is polarizing, and some subscribers might cancel if she's on the lineup." Other lecture buyers are universities, which have a leftist slant, and corporations, which dislike controversy. "Palin is so uninteresting to so many groups -- unless they are interested in moose hunting," said our insider. "What does she have to say? She can't even describe what she reads." Palin likely quit as governor just months after losing the election as John McCain's vice-presidential running mate because of money. "She knew that if she waited until her term ended in 2010, these opportunities would be gone," said a source. "She would have lost millions by staying in office." Palin's "Going Rogue: An American Life" is described by Harper publisher John Burnham as "her words, her life, and it's all there in full and fascinating detail." Harper wouldn't discuss what Palin was paid. Lynn Vincent, Palin's collaborator, wrote the book so fast, publication has been moved up from the spring to Nov. 17.

Despite her rather considerable limitations, Palin is now making more money than her salary if she had been elected VP. My guess is that she'll take the Pat Buchanan route - turning a flimsy run as a candidate into solid cash as a public speaker and pundit.

Domestic energy. Probably fiscal conservatism, a largely neocon foreign policy. But then, she pretty much just read scripts as McStain's VP. What is interesting is the absolutely unrelenting and vicious personal attacks on her and on her family. And all of this while she has been virtually silent and invisible. It looks to me like libmedia and the Left are scared shitless of her, afraid maybe that she might have the kind of Reaganesque popular appeal, or the potential of it, to unseat Yomama in 2012 just as Reagan unseated Carter in 1980.

Especially when she has been totally invisible except for writing three Facebook posts and making a closed speech with predictable content in Asia. I'd say she is more hated than Bush or Kerry or Gore or Xlinton or anyone else I've ever seen in politics. It is really an insane level of hatred. It has nothing to do with her politics per se. It's the whole psychosis being displayed that has me scratching my head. It's not about policy (or lack thereof) with these types. It's something deeper and frankly more frightening.

It's funny to observe the reactions some have toward Palin, a woman with zero political power, to that of the black Kenyan communist who currently occupies the White House. The clowns, trolls and oafs who delight in ridiculing her, while ignoring the deeds of the Marxist and his assembled inner circle, is quite revealing.
But then, she pretty much just read scripts as McStain's VP. I don't believe McStain was either a fiscal conservative or advocate of domestic energy. On social issues they were hardly simpatico... The only major issues that need clarification regarding Palin are her definitive positions (and not scripted campaign BS rhetoric) with respect to foreign policy (most likely backing Israel vs. Muslims), and the Mexican/Third World Invaders situation.
MSNBC personalities Rachel Madcow/Ed Schultz/Chris Matthews/Keith Olbermann hardly let a day pass without taking a shot at her, whether she's in the news or not (mostly not). It's telling that the D.C. Democrats walk in mortal fear of her personal values.

I agree with a lot of stuff that Palin said during the campaign about social issues and economic philosophy, but she's four-square in support of these globalist military adventures which are behind much (if not all) of what is shredding America into a million pieces. If I've kicked Palin, it's not because she's spoken against she's spoken against some of the causes of our national degeneration, it's because she's bought by the same type of folks that buy democrats. They fear she is a threat to the Kenyan, much as Reagan was to Carter in 1980. It is the only explanation for vitriol on this level. It makes me wonder if they've done polling and recognize that with proper handling, she could deny key states to the Kenyan in 2012. But it is way beyond ordinary political invective. She is a threat to them somehow. Maybe it's that they hate drilling and she is the single biggest advocate of domestic energy production, well, pretty much the biggest ever. And if they are taxing energy and forcing us into Gnomemobiles, that could pose a big threat to them in 2012.
