We had a '73 Lincoln Continental Mark VI. It had a 460 in it. Custom paint, red, silver and black. We called it the pimp mobile.

Too funny. We also had a silver '73 Mark VI that was stolen from the parking lot where Mrs.L worked. Several years later, the Laredo PD called up and told us that they had recovered the rig. I asked them what shape was it in, and they said it looked pretty good. So, I flew down to drive it home. Big mistake. They had changed out the front clip to an '80 Mercury, and the rest of the car was pathetic. Finally, I got back home and sold the poor thing for the price of the gorgeous rims.
We recently had our pick-up truck stolen. Nine months later a Deputy called us at 11:30pm. He found our truck sitting in the back of an apartment complex 2 miles from our house, under cover no less. The stereo and box of hand tools were missing but aside from the dead battery the truck was in perfect shape. Lumber rack and camper shell still there. It had been sitting there the whole 9 months. The battery still had one week left on warranty and the tires had flat spots but we were happy to have the truck back.
Interesting, and odd. Good on you guys. Very fortunate for you and the PU.

Redneck vs. cop: Redneck. Cop vs. n-word: Cop. n-word vs. white guilter: n-word. Being a lawyer knocks you down a peg, so redneck lawyer vs. cop and n-word lawyer vs. white guilter are toss-ups. White guilter lawyers are the lowest form of life. Here's another one I lament about: I was about 19 then. What a punk, huh?

Good car. I wonder what it would be worth today. In my younger days I had a used Porsche. It was not the fastest thing on the road, but it handled great. It felt like the car was an extension of my body. Now, I have a minivan.

That's probably worth half a mil now. I think the 4 door fleetwoods fetch about a quarter mil. I sold mine for two hundred dollars. lol
