Apparently too stupid to modify the Perl regexes to filter out embedded OBJECT tags or IFRAME tags.

That was one of JimRob's last real code changes. That was when he finally wrote (or lifted) a tag parser to close all unclosed tags so if you left an open I tag (italics), it didn't turn the rest of the thread italic. This was known as wiping out the Italians back around 2000.

There have been a few cosmetic changes. You see a set of three tab buttons now on the listings pages. Since clicking them causes a full page reload, it's just cosmetic, no Web 2.0 AJAX functionality. It's still just your daddy's Web 1.0 message board.

All these forums suffer from dated software. Makes it very hard to recruit younger members who consider posting in HTML to be Neanderthal.
