Religion See other Religion Articles Title: EVERLASTING LIFE ON EARTH EVERLASTING LIFE ON EARTH Millions of people today clearly understand the Scriptural basis for the hope of living forever in an earthly Paradise. Revelation 7:9 After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. Revelation 7:17 because the Lamb, who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them, and will guide them to fountains of waters of life. And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes.” At the beginning of human history, God revealed that man was made, not to live a few years and then die, but to live forever. Genesis 1:26-28 And God went on to say: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth.” 27 And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. 28 Further, God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.” The lifting of mankind to the perfection that Adam lost was part of the hope of Israel. The Christian Greek Scriptures explain by what means God will make possible everlasting life for mankind in Paradise on earth. So why did man’s hope have to be rediscovered? How was it brought to light and made known, once again, to millions? A HOPE OBSCURED Jesus foretold that false prophets would corrupt his teachings and that most people would be misled. Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. – This statement of Jesus Christ referred to events that were to happen immediately; not at some time in the future. The apostle Peter warned Christians; “There will also be false teachers among you.” 2 Peter 2:1 However, there also came to be false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among YOU. These very ones will quietly bring in destructive sects and will disown even the owner that bought them, bringing speedy destruction upon themselves. 2 Furthermore, many will follow their acts of loose conduct, and on account of these the way of the truth will be spoken of abusively. – If you read these verses and can not see what happened to the original teachings of Jesus Christ and how that has affected Christendom, then I feel sorry for you. The apostle Paul spoke of “a period of time when people would not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they would accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled.” 2 Timothy 4:3, 4 For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. – Think this may have something to do with homosexuals teaching from the pulpits of apostate Christianity? Satan is involved in misleading people and has used apostate Christianity to obscure the heartwarming truth about God’s purpose for man and the earth. 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4 If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. -- god of this system of things is Satan the Devil. The Scriptures explain that the Kingdom of God is a government in heaven that will crush and put an end to all man-made rulerships. Daniel 2:44 “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite; -- A government established for all time, to rule the earth from heaven, with an immortal Jesus Christ as king forever. During Christ’s rule of a thousand years, Satan will be confined to an abyss, the dead will be resurrected, and mankind will be elevated to perfection on earth. Revelation 20:1-3 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while. … 6 Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. Revelation 21:1-4 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” – How about that – death will be no more, so, how are people going to die in order to go to heaven? Or, of course, hell? However, apostate religious leaders of Christendom have embraced other ideas. For example, third-century Church Father Origen of Alexandria condemned believers in the earthly blessings of the Millennium. Why? What did Origen ‘believe’ that was different? He believed, and taught, that man had an immortal soul, a belief that came directly from Greek tradition, and not from Scripture. What are we told about the end times in Scriptures? Daniel 12:4 “And as for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of [the] end. Many will rove about, and the [true] knowledge will become abundant.” Is that not an amazing prophecy? That at the time of the end, the TRUE knowledge of Scripture will become abundant. Would anyone care to check and see who is preaching the Good News of the Kingdom of God world wide, and, teaching ONLY what comes from the Bible? If you need some clues on this, I would suggest that you find your nearest Witness for Jehovah, and ask them for a Bible study so you can make your own, informed decision about who is right. Unless, of course, you support the decisions to permit homosexuals to preach the Bible from the pulpit, and, if you support ACORN etc.

Why would I want everlasting life on this planet? God doesn't change the hearts of man, as man's free will gets in the way of things. No thanks. I'll take my death, and move on to something better, than this paltry little world full of yammering monkeys.

Where in the scripture that you posted does it mention LIFE ETERNAL ?
