Title: LP's Big Government "conservatives" decry removing government from marraige

What a difference a president makes. Prior to Yomama taking office, members of LP were wanting the government to remove themselves from sanctifying marriage so that the government wouldn't sanction gay marriage. There were pages and pages of posts on these threads, all talking about how marriage was between man and God and the government shouldn't have anything to do with it.

Now that one of Obama's "czar's" is talking about this same thing, the world is going to come to an end and statist's are beside themselves. One self-professed preacher, Bob Celeste, is even quoting the Bible as proof of how evil this is.

The cognitive dissonance of these idiot's is truly amazing to behold. They hold absolutely no absolute values or morals. Like Bill Clinton, it all depends on what the word "is" is, or in their case, it all depends on who's making the decision.

With retarded morons like this voting, it's no wonder the country is in the shape it's in. Here are the posts:

Sooner or later there's going to be a call for conservatives in this country to meet at the Capital Building and to bring weapons if it's only a pitchfork...

Sunstein explained terminating the issuance of state marriage contracts would not affect the commitments of those in the "partnership."

Using that logic we can eliminate state licensing of drivers, businesses, professionals, educators, etc.

Isn't there anyone in the whole Obungler administration with an iota of common sense or decency?

Actually he's right for all the wrong reasons. I know his intent is evil, but I have to agree, marriage is something that is none of the government's damn business.

thoughtomator posted on 2009-10-23 07:01:20 ET Reply Trace 6. To: packrat1145 (#0)

obama has surrounded himself with some of the worst of the worse and the Congress stands by and does nothing.

In the words of the Arch Angel Michael, "the Lord rebuke thee satan". And as the Apostle Paul so aptly put it " Alexander the coppersmith the obama administration and this government did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:"

BobCeleste posted on 2009-10-23 07:12:50 ET Reply Trace 7. To: packrat1145 (#0)

The U.S. government should abolish its sanctioning of marriage, argued Cass Sunstein, President Obama's regulatory czar.

Once again one of satans minions tries to derail prophecy, for Jesus said that He would return when:

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,..."

satan's slaves are almost as dumb as he is, almost as stupid as he and his demons are, Sunstein, and his fellow slaves to obama prove that on a daily basis. The only slaves of satan that are stupider than obama and his gang are members of COngress like barney the homosexual, olympia the queen of abortion and her gal pal susie collins.

Lp'ers are losing their common sense. I cannot understand why self professed Christians like Bob Celeste continue to post over there when goldi-lox has a deep hatred for Christians. Murron, Liberator who I believe are also Christians said they would never post over there again but went back to goldi's deceptive lair.

Libertypost.org owner Goldi-Lox has shown her true feelings towards Christians. What is strange still, strong professed Christians such as Bob Celeste, Starz and Byeltsin are still posting on the site. Kudo’s (for now) to Liberator and Murron who appeared to have stopped posting over there. I hope they stick to their guns. Shame to the other conservative Christian posters on the site who have let this go.

Goldi on a later post tried to backpeddle but her words below leave no doubt to her hatred towards Christians. Maybe the Christians on LP should stop giving donations to LP and ask for their money back for deceptive advertising. Goldi's comments should be posted on Free Republic-they make any past assinine comment from Jim Robinson look tame in comparison.

These people have no respect for anyone else's religion or holidays. They stomp across them the same way their ancestors stomped across the American Indians, with no guilt or apology, as if it was their right to destroy them. To say they are insensitive is a gross understatement. Living here in the South, has taught me a lot about "christian" intolerance. I deal with it every day...and I refuse to deal with it here on this site. And the irony is that their professed "Messiah" was the same Jew they are intolerant of. And as a Jew would have NOTHING to do with them! Jesus was a JEW, and he preached against judging others. He would be observing Rosh Hoshana now preparing for our Highest Holiday, Yom Kippur. Such hypocrites. Goldi-Lox posted on 2009-09-21 04:10:23 ET Reply Trace

I have had to deal with the intolerance of many "Christians" over the past year, and I can no longer be silent or tolerant when I and my faith is abused. I have stated categorically in the past that no one is to use this NEWS DISCUSSION FORUM for religious conversion activities...of ANY faith, but the self appointed Christians think that all the rules don't apply to them. Well they DO! They only THINK they are special. Everyone else thinks they are a pain in the ass, and are annoying. So they don't get to annoy folks here, or be their regular pains in the ass. And they don't get to spit on Judaism, the religion of their professed god. . Let me make this perfectly clear: If the G-d of the Old Testament is a false god, then Jesus and that whole fable is nothing but a total Fraud. To be the son of G-d, there had to first be G-d. Buncha morons. You don't think anything through... Just believe the malarky fairy tales the preachers spew at you. Goldi-Lox posted on 2009-09-21 04:22:29 ET Reply Trace

The government does not have to sanction marriage in order for a divorced couple to get some sort of alimony. It can be handled in civil court just like a million other things are.

Besides that, that was not the point of the thread. The point was the cognitive dissonance of the big government conservatives on LP.

Of course as a government buttlicker yourself, I can understand why you cannot imagine a world in which the government is not involved in every aspect of your life.

Reminds me of the dozens of people over there who swore up and down that they would NEVER vote for a Republican again and then turned around and voted Republican because some sweet talking, big-tittied woman runs as VP for lifelong statist John McCain. LOL! They looked for any reason, no matter how small, to vote Republican, and I can only guess that they looked for any reason, no matter how small, to go back to LP.

LP is a fascinating train wreck of a cesspool...k00ks, nuts, etc. I've found myself idly wondering how best it might be shut down and taken offline permanently.

The more I read over there, the more I'm certain the Founders never intended these sorts of people to have a voice of any sort in their government. That CrazyBitchRebelGal and Liberator went back over after Moldi-Box basically told the Christers what she thinks of them says far more negative things about their character than Moldi's.

That's the problem I have with most people in politics and it is always coupled with voting lesser of two evils.

Morality is deteriorating on a daily basis now, sadly.

I find the core of morality is honesty, integrity, honor and personal responsibility.

Morality took a nose in this country decades ago when communists in this nation convinced minorities and women that they were not responsible for their hardships and actions, and that it was all the fault of the "white men".

Once societies do that, "integrity," "honor," and particularly "justice" are all subjective and arbitrary.

You omitted "honesty" and "personal responsibility". The tyrannical theocracies in the Middle East right now teaches us that just because someone claims to speak for God, doesn't mean that person is "moral".

Well, there's a difference between faith in God on paper and faith in God in heart.

The latter produces personal responsibility generally speaking. Formal religious institutions are first and foremost paper faith.

That sir is where you are wrong. Personal responsibility, honesty, integrity and honor start in a person's soul, and goes outward from there to faith in God.

Without those things, a person's faith in God can quickly turn into a blood bath for others, as seen with muslim fanatics.

Paleolibertarian is a good compromise. That's me - Paleocon/Paleolibertarian - depends on the issue, but I lean libertarian. Anarchism is a failed philosophy workable only in small population group societies. Otherwise you only wind up with the biggest bastard with the most triggermen makes the rules.

Yes, I do understand. Just think about what I posted in post 23.

Without a moral foundation, a person is not "grounded", and their belief in their religion, because they are not grounded, can quickly turn into religious zealotry, which leads to mass-murder.

1. Correct, and you think about what you posted as well!

2. If God created man, he therefore put that "moral foundation" in him to respond to as he chose.

3. Did you ever stop to ponder that "religious zealotry" is what happens when the morals that I am referring to are ignored?

4. Does "religious zealotry" to you mean practicing Godly morality? I sure hope not, because Jesus Christ was as areligious as they come.

1. Yes.

2. What we seem to disagree as to what the very foundation is. You say, God. I say, morality. I also disagree, in that the two are not the same thing.

3. That is why I am saying the morals are the foundation before/beneath religion.

4. True, but his zealotry was one of preaching kindness and forgiveness. He very rarely acted in anger and violence.

So typical.

If you're not going to follow through on a debate, then don't start one.

Okay, you want talk about God, human souls and the origins of human nature.

Let's look that Garden of Eden story. Here we have God creating a paradise with several types of animals in it, including humans, with only one rule there. Don't eat the forbidden fruit.

Why would God do this you ask. Look at the set up of the Garden of Eden, it's petri dish, an experiment in temptation. To see which animal would eat the fruit.

When you take all this into account, it is quite clear that the serpent in the story is an agent of God, and NOT an agent of Satan.

God tricked humanity into eating the forbidden fruit.

And why would God do this. As a way to torment the fallen angels, by offering them something (humanity) that they would want, but could never have. That is a form of Hell in of itself, for both fallen angels and humans.
