Is anybody here really scared of getting the swine flu?

I am not at all. I would rather get it than get the vaccination which would likely do more harm than the swine flu would.

The government doesn't really care about our health or they wouldn't have ever approved Aspartame, and artificially lowered the price of corn to make high fructose corn syrup more attractive as a sugar replacement. They never would have approved asbestos for use in homes and buildings either if they cared about our health. They put fluoride and chlorine in our public water supply, which is terribly toxic to the human body and causes osteoporosis. They allow dentist to put silver/mercury amalgam fillings in your mouth even though mercury is one of the most toxic elements known to the human body. And they have mercury in all flu shots, supposedly used as a preservative, which they claim won't hurt us. They take us all for fools and clearly do not care about our health one iota. Considering their indifference to our health this world wide push to get people vaccinated has me very concerned about their true goals here.

Aspartame

According to the following website, Donald Rumsfeld disregarded safety issues and used his political muscle to get Aspartame approved.

There's also a video about what Aspartame's motive is: "Dumbing Down Society."

Heck no, I'm not afraid of the stinkin' swine flu, and I don't ever drink diet soda either.

As near as I can tell I am just getting over it. It was not severe and other than the two worst days ammounted to nothing more than an annoyance.

The government doesn't really care about our health...

I think that's the consensus from anyone who's been following the bouncing ball.

Unfortunately, I believe the worst of our NWO overlords....er....I mean American governance (cough.)

What were your symptoms?

I've been run down for about a week.

Initially runny nose, light fever, and a bit of a crouping cough.

Day two the fever was light and broke on the second night with a few light flashes thereafter. I had an almost headache. Mostly it was lethargy - lack of energy - a few body "sensations" and inability to think as clearly as normal.

Today (day 6) nose is gradually drying out, a light not quite headache, and even after sleeping late at 9:50 PDT I am groggy and ready to hit the hay - which I plan on doing here in a moment. I actually felt more energetic yesterday. I've heard that is one of characteristics of the Oinker Flu - a double bounce - about the time you think you're over it you get a flare up again. Also I am coughing up a small amount of mucus out of my lungs today.

I'm not afraid of swine flu. However, cat cough and doggy disentary do have me concerned.

I'm more scared of the people telling me to get the shot!

Indeed.

.gov may have over-played their hand with this flu hysteria.

As long as it's not forced 'vaccinations' no one will be jabbing back.

When it becomes involuntary, then people will be shot and otherwise roughed up.

IMO

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”—Samuel Adams

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Oh, there's no question. They can't make it involuntary. There are absolutely vast groups of millions of people who will tell the government to shove off, should this happen. The government cannot do anything to that many people and would be displayed as being impotent. There's nothing more these little demons like less than being shown to be powerless.

And, face it, they know if they pushed it anyway, there would be shooting. Lots and lots of shooting. And they'd lose.

They'd have their hands full with some of us. JMO.

Yep. We look "the same" in their uniforms, and it's hard to tell "us" from their own families of families of friends. It would be a big ol' open can of kick ass on their butts and they know it.

Nobody is forcing anything. They'll whine and gnash their teeth and threaten, but they'll never, ever do it. If I turn out to be wrong, well then, oh well. :)
