I think I've traced the few outages in recent weeks to a delay on the server when posting new articles. The problem is that when previewing an article, the server was taking a very long time to search for duplicate/similar article postings within the last 2 weeks. I think this was not a problem on the old server but the new server the site was xferred to about a month ago, it apparently was a problem. The cause is probably due to some difference is configuration, but I've made a software change on it which speeds it up dramatically (makes it work as fast as it should work).
Those of you who post lots of articles will likely notice an substantial improvement. Please let me know of any new problems you might see.
