By Jim Traficant I have been called anti-government, anti-Republican, anti-Democrat, anti-Semitic and bigot—just a few of my labels. My politics are anti-big government, anti-IRS, anti-foreign lobbies, anti-socialism and anti-Communism. Truth is, my politics are simply pro-American—period. Any issue, regardless of the hype or emotions, that is not in the best interest of America, I oppose. I believe in and support the Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Any manipulation of our constitutional mandate is a cardinal sin to me. I guess I’m old fashioned—in fact I believe that all those new world order politicians are so dumb and misdirected that if they fell out of bed, they’d miss the floor. I believe this new world order has bankrupted our great nation. We’re bankrupt and the Congress is nothing more than a bunch of trustees presiding over the biggest chapter 11 proceeding in world history. I don’t know about you but I’m fed up, I’ve had it. I’m sick of gutless politicians who are afraid to do what’s right; afraid to do what’s needed—who follow misdirected policies like lemmings, who have our young men and women engaged in foreign wars of little or no interest to the U.S.A. These same young brave Americans are now being shipped back home in body bags. Distraught, grieving parents receive their bodies while they themselves are losing their jobs and pensions. America is in grave danger, and no one seems to believe it. The major reason for the average American to be so passive and inactive is quite simple—the mainstream media of the U.S.A. distorts the truth—withholds the truth—and in many instances is controlled and influenced by foreign entities. I even question the loyalties and politics of some of their owners and publishers. I read the mainstream print medium with much skepticism. Quite frankly, I don’t trust the major newspapers. I do not believe their propaganda. It should be of no surprise to know of my support for AMERICAN FREE PRESS, even though I may disagree with the AFP on some issues. The AFP reports the truth—the unvarnished truth, regardless of the pressures that are brought to bear against them, and there are many. America needs to be informed—needs to hear and read the whole story, the truth, the facts and the dynamics of political action that secure and protect our freedom. Having said that, I encourage you to subscribe to AFP and read my weekly column. I plan to address the influence and power of AIPAC and its control over our very lives. The reason to abolish the Federal Reserve system; the reason to abolish our Communist progressive income tax; the absolute need to repeal the 16th Amendment to the Constitution; and my proposals to save and create jobs; to stop the hemorrhaging of our federal debt, to reverse our massive trade deficit and stop illegal immigration. I will also address the issue of John Demjanjuk, who is not being just prosecuted - Demjanjuk and his family are being persecuted, and no one in Washington will help. I plan to help him and will testify in Germany about the crimes in the Justice Department if subpoenaed. Opponents of mine will snicker and laugh. I predict that. I expect that. But, remember, these are the same nincompoops that have almost destroyed our great republic. You deserve to hear an opposing view. An American’s view, which happens to be my view. I plan to deliver these views and information. I ask of you to participate in this struggle to reverse the downward spiral of our great republic. I want you to send me your ideas and suggestions. I believe that America can be saved and, contrary to the propaganda we get out of Washington, this is not brain surgery nor rocket science. In fact, it’s plain old-fashioned common sense, something that is lacking in our nation’s capital. (Jim) Traficant, Jr. was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 8, 1941. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh where he was a well-known football star. He also received a M.S. degree from Youngstown State University in 1976. For ten years he served as executive director of the Mahoning County (Ohio) Drug Program and from 1981-1985 he served as sheriff of Mahoning County, prior to his election to the U.S. Congress as a Democrat in 1984. He was re-elected by overwhelming margins every year up until 2002 when, following his conviction on trumped up corruption charges he was expelled from the House of Representatives. Despite his conviction and expulsion and being sent to prison for a seven year term Traficant still won 15% of the vote running for re-election to the House in the 2002 election as an independent. He recently completed a seven year prison sentence, having refused to seek a pardon or clemency, refusing to admit to or apologize for crimes he did not commit. Hey Jethro, You start a thread on this forum asking those who support Jim Traficant, I'll copy the responses and hand deliver them to Jim in person. I live less than an hour from Youngstown. So you know that they have been delivered to him by me, I'll have him acknowledge receipt to you and christine by what ever method you want. Jim has $300 from the first four posters who read your comment. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one to meander over to Ohio to help him out. He'd do very. very well on various forums, but here in particular.
He'll appreciate your efforts. This man will go to the well for us. We need to let him know we appreciate and support him. Jim won't let you buy lunch. One of his campaign workers bought donuts one time and he really got mad about it. This was in the book Who Robbed America. On the other hand, Tommy Ridge, my former U.S. congressman, Pennsylvania governor, who quit like Sarah Palin. only during his second term, and director of the phoney Homeland Security which he also quit, filched and grubbed for hundreds of thousands of dollars and that is also in that book. Let the real support for Traficant start on this great forum!

FYI, I sent John Stadtmiller this thread/article and he's going to try to contact Jim for an interview on his show...and I just heard Alex Jones say he's tried several times to contact him...talked to his wife who said she'd pass on the message, but he hasn't returned AJ's calls.
Bad news when you are to busy to talk to the peasants. Paul did the same. If you are entrenched, then you can ignore the serfs, when you have no horse to ride, it is best you humor the masses.

Geeze Cyni! The guy may be real busy right now trying to earn some money. He didn't earn much the past 7 years. Why don't you support one of the Dems or Pubs who have announced they are running in 2012. Try and see if they will stop doing whatever they are doing at the drop of a hat and talk to you. The first one that talks to you and says what you want to hear, there's your candidate. Talk about being paranoid. I'm sure he has a good reason and will let the public and his supporters know what he intends doing down the road. He hints at it with this article he wrote in the American Free Press. Twenty twelve is quite a way off. I just got back from the Burgh. Will try and find something out and let everyone know what he's up to. I was hoping to see some real support take hold on here so I could take him some great news I might have a hard time getting an audience with him right now. I will go to the next Tea Party he attends in the Youngstown area and take it from there. Be a little patient. Besides Sarah may get jealous.
What you wrote here in #21 is probably the answer. He is being pulled in many directions. Just like now, I just got back from the Burgh. Before I left, I didn'r have the time to contact all you good folks and here you are trying to contact me. Well I too was extremely busy today. What Jim wrote at the top of this thread should put you at ease. He would never delibertly avoid even his enemies. Jim would take every opportunity to verbally attack them; something many of you chastised Ron Paul for not doing. Jim Traficant was the most transparent congressman I ever saw. I see no change in him. When he got something important to tell, you won't be able to shut him up. Stand-by, watch and wait, and I would be willing to bet you will like what you see and hear coming from Jim Traficant.

oh, i have no doubts about Traf's sincerity, Lac. i just hope he gets the time soon to go on networks like RBN and GCN. he will garner a lot of support. i don't know any patriot that doesn't think highly of him.
I will give it my best shot to try and reach him in the next few days. Baring that, I will go to Youngstown any way to try and run him down. I'll let you all know what transpires.

I've been watching the 6th game of the World Series televised on Fox. I flipped thru the channels and on NBC Cnannel 21 Youngstown WFMJ they had a news break saying Jim Traficant is busy helping the thousands of Delphi retirees who have been swindled out of their retirement benefits when Derlphi went thru their bankruptcy. More to follow on the 11pm news. I will watch the nrws and let you know what he is doing for them. Typical Traficant-always willing to help those who have been wronged. Chance of a lifetime for Traficant to do something for the country and also for himself. There is no doubt we need a voice and a leasder. That is exactly what he has been asked by the thousands of Delphi retirees who literally had their retirement benefits (pensions & health care insurance) taken away when the bankruptcy judge(s) allowed Delphi to renege on these benefits that were negotiated contract by contract over the years. Now most of them only have their Social Security, many after working 40 or more years. Doesn't this sound like a Bernie Madoff repeat special? The news reporter stated that he wondered if anyone would listen to Traficant, wondered if he had that kind of influence to get something done for the Delphi retirees. Some of the retirees said he had influence with them and Delphi retirees across the country and apparntly no one else is willing to help them try and get back what was stolen from them. Traficant said 7 billion would restore what they lost and said if we have 38 billion dollars we gave in foreign aid, "BEAM ME UP", and the government bailed out the bankers, then these workers deserve what they worked for and earned. He will pursue this relentlessly too. This is nothing new for Traficant. He has been known to literally lock up both management and the workers(unions) and not let them leave while moderating an agreement. Now that is leadership. I believe Jim Traficant will show us all just what he is made of and I don't believe there is anyone with the right kind of fight in themself to be a better leader than Traficant. We got to remember he is now an outsider just as we are. He has to use all his skill so as not to alienate anybody. Whatever he decides, and it may be just to remain an outsider willing to help people out rather than to re-nter politics. I beleive if we really get behind him, encourage him, and support him financially, he might be persuaded to run for that big white house that the citizens own but has been invaded by puppets who act like that big white house is owned by their masters who operate behind the scenes and apparently by violating our Constitution. One more thing we need to take into consideration. Even though Traficant was convicted in a phoney trial on trumped up charges, he still served 7 years in prison and may still be under some kind of probation that may hinder what he does. Being we don't really know for sure if he is on a short chain, let us be willing to give him a little space and the benefit of being patient. If he intends to serve us thru an elected capacity he will let us know right from the get go.
