And lastly he was a physician and he betrayed those tenets,

What I find strange is that this man was employed to deal with the psychological problems of the most mentally battle scarred men returning form the Middle East.

Even expats who have civilian jobs over there in safe countries, however culturally attuned and tolerant, breathe a sigh of relief when they return home and are back in their own element, back on Western soil. No more prayer calls, no more gender segregation, and none of the thousand little daily reminders that you are not home and are in a place that for most Americans is strange and alien if not outright hostile.

Imagine some grunt who has been on multiple deployments, who has seen and done God-knows-what over there and now finds that he can't function in the world once he returns home. The Army puts him in the charge of some joker who runs around in a thobe and beanie and who has a history of trying to convert his patients.

You know, I ain't never been to war in Iraq or Afghanistan and I've never been in the Army, but I can tell you for sure that the guys under Hasan's care must have cussed out the government that sent them over there.

Video Shows Ft. Hood Shooter Major Hasan At "Homeland Security"

Let's move along - nothing to see here at all...the Muzzie Hasan was only interested in fulfilling his oath as a US Army Major, right?

The wordings of the current oath of enlistment and oath for commissioned officers are as follows:

"I, Allahu Akbar Hasan, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God. ALLAH"

TRAITOR.

Casey's a perfumed princess. Safe and sound away from all the "diversity" he speaks so highly of.

Asked on NBC’s “Meet the Press” whether Muslim soldiers are conflicted in fighting wars in Muslim countries like Afghanistan and Iraq, Casey said: “I think that’s something that we have to look at on an individual basis. But I think we as an Army have to be broad enough to bring in people from all walks of life.”

The bottom line is the military benefits from diversity, he said.

“Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse,” Casey said.

It'd be terrible if Hasan was both Muslim AND gay, wouldn't it? ;-)

b. Everyone that has anything to do with anything Federal including and especially the military has a screw loose in this danged country is all I can say.

a. Hasan's patients are not exactly clamoring to be re-assigned to another military shrink so they must be re-considering the military's "judgment" and whether FedGov's "free" care is worth it.

"As for the patients under Hasan's care, only a few have contacted hospital staff to continue their care, Kesling said."

b. The military wanted to get back its investment in his medical training come hell or high water. This Hasan thingie is a perfect example - albeit in the the extreme - of how gubment operates. Rather than dismiss someone who is not working out, they either transfer OR promote. "Employee termination" in gov't is an obsolete phrase. That's why we've got a culture of incompetence in gov't today and by golly, they're proud of it!

"When pressed by reporters, Kesling [Hasan's boss] revealed she had viewed some of Hasan's records from his previous assignment at the Maryland base.

"His evaluation reports said that he had some trouble in his residency fitting into his residency," Kesling said. "So we worked very hard to integrate him into our practice and integrated into our organization and he was doing very well."

In WWII we didn't send the Americans of Japanese descent to fight the Japanese. That was common sense. Today we send Muslim's to fight Muslim's. That's a lack of common sense. The military should either boot them the hell out altogether or allow them to fill other needs within the army.

One thing is for sure and that is that anyone saying the things the murderer was claimed to have said should have been booted out a long time ago. Those that knew he was saying these things and didn't report it should face some sort of UCMJ action and be booted out of the army. It is unacceptable for an officer or NCO in the United States Army to say he was scared to turn someone in because of the possible ramifications to his career. That shows a complete lack of moral courage and should NOT be the type of leader the army should want within their ranks.

I'll go one step farther. The "Bible bangers" should have to pass their collection plates to pay for their dick-waving wars themselves or get their "chosen people" in Israel to pay for them. Good luck with that.

"His aunt, Noel Hasan, who lives in Virginia, told the Washington Post he wanted to leave the army in part because of harassment after 9/11. She said Hasan offered to repay the cost of his medical training but the army would not let him go."

But we did send those of German descent to fight the Germans.

Good point, but did we send Americans of German descent to fight the German's if they were opposed to doing it or did we send them to Japan? I don't know the answer to that question.

It seems to me that it would be much better to either boot Muslims out altogether or find other uses for them if they do not want to go to war against other Muslim's. Better that than risk having them do something harmful to those around them.

His entire medical schooling was paid for by the military or just the Psych part?

The entire enchilada was paid for by the DOD.

www.vahealthprovider.com/...asp?License_No=0101238630

That's easily $300,000+ of medical training debt that Dr. Hasan avoided accumulating if he had tried to do it on his own.

But as it turns out, we've since learned that Dr. Hasan was so desperate to leave the Army that he had offered to reimburse the military for his medical training and [a panel?] of incompetent diphead gubment paper shuffling desk jockey bureaucrats @ the DOD turned him down. Nice.
